dooder you wore a metal shirt in a fkn church, ur lucky u didnt burst into flamez ov god
|
oh yeah
|
lol I wore metal shirts to christian schools all the time and band shirts weren't "aloud". They were just too stupid to realize what they were. I didn't have any upside down crosses on them unfortunately.
|
i had to take off my black flag shirt because of the hands holding shears on it, so ****ing stupid
EDIT: in highschool |
take it off for work or school?
|
check da edit
|
That suuucks. High School are lame, christian high schools are even worse.
|
Justin my blackmetalnoisedrone band are sampling Youth Pictures of Florence Henderson
|
the only samples you can use in black metal are as follows:
wind a wolfs howl crackling fire krieg |
yeah, uniforms blew.
@bleekill |
im glad i didnt have to wear a uniform
|
does it count that the drums allegedly sound like skeleton vs tnt?
|
our uniforms weren't bad at all, we only had to wear a polo shirt and khaki pants, but my high school was horrible i totally wish i went to public school ****
|
the **** does that even mean?
EDIT: @ christsimpson |
that the bass sounds like tnt and the snare like skeleton obviously
|
I didn't really have a uniform, just a dress code.
I like when bands use rattling chains or leaves crushed under foot in samples. War horns are great too. |
ooooooook
EDIT: @ christsimpson |
did you listen to the sample?
|

Hell yeah, I liked this one I heard on Foulest Semen it was a chick, sounded like it was from a 60-70s cult horror movie "I've waited so long to have my revenge!" I want to find the movie. A lot of times song samples help me stumble on good movies.
|
Anyone know a good freeware drum program? Feel like trying out something other than Reason for drums.
|
drum program as in a drum machine? I use Hydrogen most of the time. it is not licensed as freeware, but I'm assuming you just meant gratis software, and it is gratis.

Yeah, I meant free drum machine software. :p How'd you know the word "gratis"? And thanks, I'll check that out. |
the word "free" is ambiguous. it can mean free as in freedom of speech, or it can mean free as in free beer. gratis means "free of charge", so it is a much more precise word. no confusion.
it's a really good piece of software. used it tons. don't know if they still do Windows versions (if you use that os), but I think at least a semi-recent version should be available. @Justin http://soundcloud.com/alexanderb-1/sets/yp-samples-maybe-perhaps-possibly-not-impossibly-unfinished - the Youth Pictures of Florence Henderson samples. don't come tell me this isn't "fitting". |
Yeah, I already made a really cheesy black metal song with that program. Drums sound pretty decent, but apparently I can't install any plugin drumkits.
And about the word "gratis", I thought it was only a Dutch word. That's why I asked. ;) |
it stems from Latin and is present in most Western languages.
you can make your own kits or import and install drum kits. personally I prefer making my own kits. I don't only use it for "natural sounding drums", but also for blip blops and stuff. |
gratis means free in spanish
