Let's Chop Cats! 09-14-2005 09:32 PM

Dude, my town is insane with property values. A townhouse here is $600,000. Little capes with like 4 rooms are like $500,000+. My family's old realitor made like millions the past 10 years.

40 oz 2 freedom 09-14-2005 09:33 PM
That sucks. Still $50,000 isn't bad considering you're in Texas and I bet things are a lot cheaper there than out on the coasts.

Stuff is insanely expensive around here.
Property values are rediculous in the hill country. It's not at all a cheap place to live.

Texas isn't a poor state with cheap things.

shane italian 09-14-2005 09:34 PM

This house we're leasing has 4 bedrooms and is nearly 2,000 square feet. There's no front yard, no drive way, and the backyard extends like 6 or 7 feet past the back door. We pay $2,600 a month and the house itself is worth a little over a million dollars.

Let's Chop Cats! 09-14-2005 09:34 PM

I figured Texas had cheap things because no one lives there in mass locations like the coasts (ex: cali, Ny, nj).

Let's Chop Cats! 09-14-2005 09:36 PM

$75,000 couldn't even buy you a half of a condo here.

I dunno about Dallas, but San Antonio is expensive, and hill country property values have like quadrupled in the past couple of years.

shane italian 09-14-2005 09:39 PM
$75,000 couldn't even buy you a half of a condo here.
Exatcly. The only drawback with Texas is property tax...but if you look at it, 20% tax on a 100,000 dollar house isn't that much more than 7% on an 800,000 dollar one.

Let's Chop Cats! 09-14-2005 09:41 PM

20% on 100,000 = 20,000
7% on 800,000 = 56,000

But if you can afford 800G's, I'm sure 56G's isn't a big deal.

shane italian 09-14-2005 09:43 PM

Yeah, I thought 20% on 100,000 would be less...but I wasn't sure and I suck at math so I figured I was wrong anyways.

I'm complaining about prices in Orange County...yet I'm planning on moving to San Francisco where a two bedroom apartment downtown is no less than $1600 a month.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-14-2005 09:57 PM

Southern California is really expensive. My house was bought at about 450,000 it has 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, and the regular stuff. But My dad remodeled some stuff so now its probrally worth $650,000. I want to be a real estate agent when I get older. Lots of money can be made.

Johnny EPHC 09-14-2005 10:13 PM

Wow, my friend and I almost got our asses beat by some nazi skins tonight. ****ed up evening.

shane italian 09-14-2005 10:13 PM

I went to Tall Mouse tonight and bought sticky tack.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-14-2005 10:13 PM

What happened?

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-14-2005 10:17 PM

This weekend I'm gonna get some of my friends to help me toilet paper this fat girl's house. Then I'm gonna write "FATASS" with mustard on her sidewalk. Perfect revenge.

shane italian 09-14-2005 10:22 PM

Hahaha, all over a deleted myspace account?

This weekend I will be seeing Final Fight and Stick To Your Guns, then going to the pool all night. Then I'll go see Bloody Sunday and Adora the next day.

40 oz 2 freedom 09-14-2005 10:22 PM

Wow, how childish of you. HIT HER WHERE IT HURTS!

Write it in butter.

40 oz 2 freedom 09-14-2005 10:23 PM

I just smoked 3 bowls.

shane italian 09-14-2005 10:24 PM

But if you really wanna make the revenge better, write FATASS in mustard then leave a hotdog in a bun next to it.

shane italian 09-14-2005 10:25 PM
I just smoked 3 bowls.
Lucky you. I haven't smoked since last week.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-14-2005 10:27 PM

The girl is really fat and ugly and I want her to cry and feel awful. My friend who is going to help me suggested to put bacon on her lawn.

Johnny EPHC 09-14-2005 10:29 PM
What happened?
My friend and I were on the L and we were getting off our train and the stop was really really empty. All the sudden we hear people behind us, and after a bit we realize that we're being followed. We look over our shoulder and see four guys following us wearing the old cliche boots and braces (Angry Aryans/Skrewdriver shirts, etc.). We start to walk faster and they start running towards us and we ****ing darted down the staircase and managed to lose them after like four blocks.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-14-2005 10:31 PM

I would be so scared if Skinheads confronted me. I look jewish but I'm mexican so I lose either way.

shane italian 09-14-2005 10:33 PM

I remember I was leaving the Poison Apple and I went to get Burger King around midnight. The door said they were still open, but I went to open the door and it was locked, so I went back to my car. During this time I noticed some dude in an old beat up Caravan, probably an 88 or something, in a hood with his car in idle just staring at me. I get in my car and the dude turns on his light and as I pull out of the driveway he follows. I got so scared that I ended up speeding all the way down Manchester Ave into Inglewood and getting myself completely lost.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-14-2005 10:35 PM

You were driving through Inglewood at those hours?

shane italian 09-14-2005 10:36 PM

I didn't really mean to be there, but I was in South Central so it was basically the same thing. Both places are really chill as long as you keep to yourself, and even then you meet some pretty interesting people at night when you goto a gas station or whatever.

This was just a scary experience no matter what area I was in.

Lazybassplr56 09-14-2005 10:38 PM

He wanted some crack.

Lazybassplr56 09-14-2005 10:38 PM

I live near Hollywood so there's plenty of crazies around.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-14-2005 10:41 PM

Oh, what part of Hollywood? I live in Long Beach by the way.
