That's what I was thinking, just replace "proctorial" with "lecture."

I'm going to go get some lunch, though. I'll be back in a few.
It seems that most of the time you post here just to say you're leaving :p

Bartender 03-14-2005 10:16 AM

It does, doesn't it.

Well anyway, how are things, magik?

Cain 03-14-2005 10:21 AM

Good morning folks.

Bartender 03-14-2005 10:22 AM

Morning, Ripper. How goes?

Cain 03-14-2005 10:23 AM

Clearing the bleariness away from my eyes (just woke up) while listening to "The Hunter" by Dokken. Oh yeah, hair metal. :thumb: How about you?

Bartender 03-14-2005 10:27 AM

Just sitting around a bit, having finished everything I need to at University for today. Listening to Canvas Solaris at the moment actually, but it's just my whole media library on random, so I'm not listening to anything specific.

Me too. NP: "X" - X-Japan

Jesus their drummer is crazy.

Bartender 03-14-2005 10:29 AM

I still haven't heard any X-Japan. Or any X, for that matter. They're both somewhere on my big list of things to check out.

Things are pretty good. School done for the day and my computer is now fixed. So just a nice day of relaxing :)

/late.
I still haven't heard any X-Japan. Or any X, for that matter. They're both somewhere on my big list of things to check out.
Yeah, unfortunately that's the only song I've got by them. If I see Iai on, and if he's into posting up some tracks, I'll mooch off of him. My girlfriend's roommate digs X-Japan and she made me a big CD with like 40 of their songs, but only "X" registered as an MP3. Every other one had title only and when I clicked on it, it disappeared. So that's too bad...I'm pretty sure all my X-Japan needs would have been satisfied by that.

Do I really come across as doing so? :-\

I think Iai's computer is in ill health at the moment, so he doesn't have much music on it. I'm probably wrong though, so yeah, ask.

Same with me, whenever I look in you usually have one post in the middle of a conversation saying you're going out for lunch/dinner/a lecture.

16,602 posts. :thumb:

That made me wonder for some reason who the first user to reach 66,666 posts will be. I'm sure he/she'll be the stuff of MX legend when it happens.

Fine, then. I'll never announce my presence or departure.

Please do, I hate it when people just disconnect in the middle of a conversation. It's just an amusing coincidence that you're always leaving whenever I visit. :)

NP: The Wildhearts - Nita Nitro

Jom 03-14-2005 11:03 AM

Well, because I'm back at uni, I have academic obligations during the week, so if there's a heated debate going on about something and I just disappear from my role in it, that's kind of crappy, because then there's a few posts of "Where did AH go?" "I dunno." "Maybe he left." "No, it says he's still online.", etc. and so I avoid that by just chiming in saying that I have to leave.

Recently, I haven't left any conversations in the middle of something, to my knowledge. Feel free to correct me or something... but I've basically left when there wasn't any interesting conversing taking place.
It's just an amusing coincidence that you're always leaving whenever I visit.
Yeah, I guess, considering we're in the same time zone, right?

Cain 03-14-2005 11:03 AM

I read a noob's post in Report Problems that says that people hate SonorKen around here? Why would that be? He never struck me as a Nazi or an inneffective mod. Do people really have problems with him?

Bartender 03-14-2005 11:03 AM
Please do, I hate it when people just disconnect in the middle of a conversation.
I see, so if Bartender actually did have to leave, you wouldn't be offended, but me saying that I have other things to take care of results in loss of brownie points?

oic :(

What I meant, and Ripper as well I think, was that sometimes it looks like you post in here to say that you're leaving, even if you weren't partaking in any conversation.

Jom 03-14-2005 11:13 AM

Oh. Alright, then.

Cain 03-14-2005 11:14 AM
I see, so if Bartender actually did have to leave, you wouldn't be offended, but me saying that I have other things to take care of results in loss of brownie points?

oic :(
No, no, no. I don't get offended when you have to leave by any means, nor am I going to make it result in a "loss of brownie-points." I just happen to come on whenever you're leaving, and it's a slightly amusing occurence, because you leave with some frequency and I merely pop in with some frequency, so we're always coinciding with one another. :)

munky_magik 03-14-2005 11:16 AM
Oh. Alright, then.
I apologize for the misunderstanding :(

How are you, anyway?

Peace.
He's got no music at all on it...I tried to get The Art Of Living off him yesterday, and got told that sad news. :( In other news I'm probably going to order more CDs today, as well as persevere with seeing if I can listen to a Dragonforce song without laughing.
CDs? What CDs?

munky_magik 03-14-2005 11:38 AM
At the moment, I'm thinking:

Tool-Aenima
The Flaming Lips-The Soft Bulletin
Dream Theater-Scenes From A Memory
The Arcade Fire-Funeral
Mission Of Burma-Vs
Can-Tago Mago
Gang Of Four-Entertainment!
Led Zeppelin-Physical Graffiti
Frank Zappa-Hot Rats

Although that's subject to change still. :-/
Good choices for the most part, though you don't strike me as the type to be purchasing Dream Theater.
Also, I have some of them if you'd prefer to save some money.

NP: Madness - Baggy Trousers

Dragonforce songs are hilarious.

Arucard 03-14-2005 11:43 AM

superpeer 03-14-2005 11:44 AM

The lyrics and the vocals.
