Snow if fun to throw at people though.

Last year at my cottage we had three and a half feet of snow. 'Twas impossible to walk through.

Well, because you can't hear snow.

It's too soft and fluffy and cool to hear.

All I know is that I've never been outside, seen the trees covered in rain and said "****, that looks cool /wanks".

Snow is different.

No looks prettier, but i love the sound of rain and watching it from inside, or anywhere i can see it so im not in it. Snowballs are cold, so that puts a downer on snow for me, and i like to wear shorts, so i wear them in snow, which isnt good. But i can laugh at the people when there pants drag on the floor and get piss threw, but they laugh because im cold :upset:

/me is downloading Shining Force III.
Amazing game, I remember playing it on my friends old Saturn when I was a little kid.

I also completed the Water Temple on Ocarina Of Time, using no guides or anything. I am so proud.

I combat the difficulties of traveling by staying inside and playing video games all day.

If any one ever gets the chance to play Makai Kingdom or Disgaea, take that chance. Addicting as hell.

Oz Rembrandt 09-27-2005 03:16 PM

Man, the Water Temple took me forever

America proberly gets better snow then us, when its finished its rarly over a 1/4er inch think, and turns to slush realy quickly, but in the more its fun, just at night its all black ice and slush. I think the scots get decent snow though

Shining Force for GBA is a solid, if not a bit boring, tactics RPG.

The level up system annoys me. You don't start gaining stats after promoting for like 10 levels. Laaammmeee. And the fact that magic users need mana pisses me off. They aren't worth it.

Fire Emblem is better, although it suffers from the same repetetiveness. SF has better characters and a wider variety, though.

Shining Force better than FE? I'll have to check it out.

Yeah, a couple of years ago, the snow was that deep, it came up to my waist.

And the council took it from the roads and piled it into the park, and made a huge snow fort, its was so much fun.

Fire Emblem is more fun. I've never had the patience to complete Shining Force, I've been three fire emblem games at least twice each.

The thing that Shining Force has that's better than FE is the characters. No more generic characters that simply have different hair color than normal. Creepy bug assasin guys, steam warriors, an elderly man in a glider, etc.

Which other one have you played?

chumpradio 09-27-2005 03:26 PM

I only ever played Shining Force III, and that was when I was pretty young. I remember loving it though.
I remember a character died, and I almost cried. It was like what happened to Aeris in FFVII. :(

Don't laugh, I get very attached to my video games.
I shed a tear of happiness when watching Advent Children, when all of the old gang came to fight Bahamut. Nostalgia.

I'm very attached to video games from my younger days as well. Even though my younger days weren't as long ago as yours.. I think.

Jelle, I remember when your avatar was a pear in a superman type costume. And I realized your name was actually super "pear" not super "peer".

Edit: Cool, 1600.

I'm only 15. I started games at a young age though, so I am quite attached to a lot of SNES and Megadrive games, and a few Master System and Sega Saturn.

Dinner time. Later, all.

Oh, The World Is Not Enough is on, which I can't deny. There's nothing to end a night of bad TV than a good old Bond movie

I remember thinking that Ocarina Of Time had the best graphics I had ever seen, and running to show my brother them. God, it is so weird how much graphics have improved.
