Yeah, a French BM cult. Stands for "Les Legiones Noire".
I think that would be spelled 'Les Légions Noires" :purist:
The Black Legions by any chance?
Oui

Dr. Jake Destructo, j'enverrai des chansons.

Edit - Actually I can't, pretty much all the FBM I have is on tape, and I haven't copied any of those tapes to my computer yet, sorry.

Ken said any and all forms of free music transfer were banned competely.

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-11-2005 01:58 PM

Yeah, there's a good probability that I will hate it, but I may end up digging it. Those avant garde songs you sent me a while back grew on me so much. I listen to them every once in a while, still, actually.

RiceMonster 09-11-2005 01:58 PM
I'll send some to ya, gimme a few.

Not sure if you will like it, it's pretty raw and unproduced form of black metal for most people.

And the French Black Metal scene musically is probably the best right now.

NP - Nevermore - Inside Four Walls

Yay, I get to see Nevermore today wewt.
Yeah, I can send some too, as I've got a shitload of LLN material on my computer. What songs/bands are you sending so I can decide what to send?

Shadows 09-11-2005 01:59 PM

Can anyone tell me about Diabolical Masquerade?

Arucard 09-11-2005 01:59 PM

My faverouite band at the minute are definatly Perefone. Such atmosphere, yet such power.

Awesome avant-garde metal with a heavy sound of melodic black to them.

Check out the song Rider On The Bonez if you want to hear a good song from them.

NP - Deathspell Omega - Victory Of Impurity

Shadows 09-11-2005 02:03 PM

Thank you, I will. I'm looking for Death's Design right now too as it looks pretty interesting.

I've already checked those. I wanted to know if anyone had/has any of their music and can give me a personal opinion on them.

It's the music of Blakkhiem, who is also in Katatonia and Bloodbath. It started out as relatively normal atmospheric black metal with classic metal riffing ideas. Gradually it progressed towards a more avantgarde sound. Nightwork is a great album, avant-garde music with some wierd keyboard parts and voice samples. Death's Design was the soundtrack to a horror film never made, and is a very intresting release. I've got three out of four albums (I don't have The Phantom Lodge, and also I only have Ravendusk In My Heart on download so the quality sucks) but I could give you some stuff on slsk or something. The project split up in 2004 after Blakkhiem didn't get the necessary inspiration to make another album.

Lord Abortion 09-11-2005 02:05 PM

I just got cannibal corpse's version of No Remorse...
this is going to be awesome to cover...

I'd love to get some of their stuff.

I have the Diabolical Masquerade album with Rider on the Bonez on it. Good stuff.

Shred Danson 09-11-2005 02:30 PM

OK, have nothing better to do, might as well post on here....

Bobo, lucky bastard, I would kill to see Nevermore!

NP: Lord Belial- Lamia

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-11-2005 02:38 PM

Bobo- Do you think you'll be on mx more during these later months? I don't know much about construction, but it'd stand to reason if worked thinned a bit during the winter.

Are they any good? I saw a CD in a second hand store and it looked like it would appeal to me. I was wondering if they were worth buying/what they sound like.

Me as well. I've heard they're excellent live, and their new album was great.

when all's said and done, I think today could be going much much better.

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-11-2005 03:59 PM

Care to uh, enligthen us on why? It's not because we're talking about metal is it? :p

Illmatic 09-11-2005 04:04 PM

I'd like to think that's it, but it's something way worse. I don't really like saying it or lookint at it in type so forgive me if I seem to be dodging around.

Cain 09-11-2005 04:08 PM

I didn't get into blues ensemble. :(

I suspect it was because my audition was awful.

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-11-2005 04:16 PM

What did you play in your audition?

ATM 09-11-2005 04:31 PM

Evening, all.

I had a looong jam session yesterday. We played for about 6 hours. Then I slept at my girlfriends and she had a little party. It was pretty fun.

Then I had to go shopping for my cousin's wedding :-/

Now I am relaxing and listening to Sonic Youth.

Anything new with you guys?

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-11-2005 04:34 PM

Yeah. I'm IMing god, actually.
