The marketing of Cloverfield is annoying me. There's only so much forced mysteries I can take.

What forced mysteries?

I just don't like marketing where the intent is that I'm going to be interested because they give such little information about the actual content. The whole 'shrouded in mystery' aspect behind the movie and everything just puts me off. If it's well-received I'll see it, but I have no interest in this time because I have no idea what the **** it's about.

Cloverfield looks like it could be really good, or really bad. The whole "told from camera person's point of view thing" could possibly ruin it.

I don't want to waste five dollars to see a movie I don't know everything about already. :(

I just want to know whether I want to see it or not. I've been given no information to make me lean one way or another, and I'm not going to spend money yet on something like that.

Then again most of my problems with Firefox/Opera randomly started so it probably has less to do with memory whoring and more with virii.
