sister needs remastered

Neoteric 12-27-2007 08:15 AM

But didn't they record over the master tapes?

Eliminator 12-27-2007 08:18 AM

supposedly

that would be really lame if it was true, because that's really their only older album that needs remastering badly. even cranked in a car it sounds kind of thin and soft, especially the drums

Neoteric 12-27-2007 08:23 AM

It has a warmer sound than their other albums but even so, it still sounds way too thin and that is probably why I don't listen to it nearly as much as I should.

lol they recorded over the master tapes to record Experimental Jetset.

John Cale - The Island Years

I am new to solo John Cale. That seemed like a good place to start. There is a lot of great stuff, but quite a lot of average/nondescript stuff as well.

Bukowski 12-27-2007 09:45 AM

Bowery Electric - Beat

dreamy, chill, trippy, and other related adjectives. Good stuff.

Bukowski 12-27-2007 11:00 AM

fIREHOSE - Ragin' Full On

I really like Ed Crawford's vocals. And of course, the rhythm section is bitchin'.
