I need some really good metalcore. Tell me up some bands please. id be most grateful :chug:
Kiss It Goodbye
Botch
Converge
7 Angels 7 Plagues
Indecision
Integrity
Coalesce
Skycamefalling
Poison The Well (First two albums only)
Rorschach

That's pretty much the only metalcore I listen to unless I'm forgetting some bands. Those are essential bands I just listed.

i am the robots 10-26-2007 10:24 PM

New Poison The Well is better tbh.

RunAmokRampant 10-27-2007 12:26 AM

The only PTW I like is 'The Opposite of Decemeber'. I personally think they are a tad overrated.

i am the robots 10-27-2007 12:32 AM

I'm all about A Tear From The Red and You Come Before You

2muchket! 10-27-2007 06:56 AM

Opposite of December is their best.

Although I did check out YCBY and it is really good also.

Concubine 10-27-2007 08:18 AM

guys, listen to Pale Creation, Threadbare, Rise and Fall and One King Down

RetiredAt21 10-27-2007 08:59 AM

One King Down is good. Hoods are good, too.

LifeInABox 10-27-2007 10:36 AM

Hoods blow, dude.

masscows 10-27-2007 10:38 AM
New Poison The Well is better tbh.
HELL NO

RetiredAt21 10-27-2007 10:59 AM

Yeah, that was a ridiculous statement.

Hbp, stop it.

LifeInABox 10-27-2007 11:37 AM

I'm sorry. I don't like Hoods.

Samuraiofmetal 10-27-2007 11:52 AM

My favorite metalcore bands are: As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, and Haste The Day :)

i am the robots 10-27-2007 12:13 PM

I seriously can't stand Haste The Day.

LifeInABox 10-27-2007 12:14 PM

Way back when my band used to play their covers

masscows 10-27-2007 12:14 PM

How old were you, 14?

wait...

Samuraiofmetal 10-27-2007 12:17 PM

haste the day has some tight riffs and have good stage presence.

LifeInABox 10-27-2007 12:18 PM
How old were you, 14?

I think I was 12 ish.

masscows 10-27-2007 12:19 PM

I used to play in an AC/DC cover band.

Good times.

i am the robots 10-27-2007 12:19 PM
haste the day has some tight riffs and have good stage presence.
Meh. Not really... you could say that about the other two, if you emphasize the some part.

LifeInABox 10-27-2007 12:22 PM

I kinda lump HtD into the gihugant pile of mediocre generic garbage that is growing daily.

thats the $hit right there!

i am the robots 10-27-2007 12:44 PM

On topic of incredibly trendy mainstream metalcore, I'm gonna see August Burns Red and Unearth tonight.

And of course Darkest Hour. :)

I had the opportunity to see that show last night, but I wouldnt want to sit through ABR and Suicide Silence to see Darkest Hour and Unearth, on top of the fact that it's a 2 hour drive to that venue. They should have come to Albany, there's more metalcore kids there than any other place I've ever been (hxc dancing at death metal gigs every night and everything)

i am the robots 10-27-2007 12:50 PM

I like August Burns Red, and I won't mind seeing Suicide Silence.

The venue is luckily a fifteen minute drive, tops, from my house... and it's down the street from the Pizza shop that sells me booze without carding me, sooo....

I'm gonna dance SO HARD tonight omg omg.

masscows 10-27-2007 12:55 PM
I'm gonna dance SO HARD tonight omg omg.
:angry::angry::angry::angry:

although, if I was drunk I probably wouldn't mind fighting the air during Unearth's set, since I mean, half of the time they're playing there would be a danceable breakdown going.

okay 10-27-2007 12:57 PM

hardcore dancing is pollution of the airways

i am the robots 10-27-2007 12:58 PM

it's also incredibly fun when you're drunk.

masscows 10-27-2007 12:59 PM

I did some crazy **** at a moshcore concert while I was drunk once. Watching people hardcore dance while sober is hilarious though, I really can't get over how stupid it looks.

i am the robots 10-27-2007 01:01 PM

The kids who take it seriously are homos, but a lot of kids are just out having fun.

bleep_bloop 10-27-2007 01:01 PM

its only a vastly warped imitation of how people like guy picciotto danced

LifeInABox 10-27-2007 01:02 PM

lol

masscows 10-27-2007 01:03 PM
The kids who take it seriously are homos, but a lot of kids are just out having fun.
Most of the time I don't mind hxc dancing, but when kids with polo shirts and white hats come in and start mixing hip-hop dancing with hxc dancing, it makes me want to beat them up.

i am the robots 10-27-2007 01:03 PM

krumping is ill wtf

masscows 10-27-2007 01:26 PM

I said neg meaning negative, I didn't neg him.

Sorry, I need to change my e-talk dialect for forums that aren't for nerds.
See You Next Tuesday sucks ***.
agreed
