Patch is made from an old Tee.

I made this patch from an old shirt as well and put sewed it on a new shirt.

Flagjacket 12-15-2005 05:57 PM

That's some pretty cool stuff.

Rise Me Up 12-15-2005 05:59 PM

Thankee.

Liebensaft 12-15-2005 06:01 PM

Cool beans.

Brain Toad 12-16-2005 10:53 PM

My jacket was pretty smelly, so I went and got my cleaning stuff today and finally remembered to keep the package so I could tell you guys about it. This stuff is great for washing your jackets without fading or destruction from the washer aggetator. It's called Dry Cleaner's Secret and it's a little sheet you put with your jacket in the dryer and just turn it on and it cleans it. Here's a website.

Ghostfire3 12-16-2005 10:55 PM

Wow, that looks pretty sweet. I'll have to remember to use that next time. Where would one go about purchasing this item?

Brain Toad 12-16-2005 11:03 PM

I got mine at Target, they sell them on the website too.

Aus Rotten 12-24-2005 09:14 PM

Ahoy mates! I said i'd finish my denim soon and post pictures once I got it done, so, here it is!

This was my old jacket I made about 2 years ago

This is my denim I made just today, in 7 hours. Bear with me here, I still have an Axegrinder/Diskonto patches to finish screening and throw on, and a Charles Bronson patch to go on the front right, where there is an obvious blank space. Also, I have about 300 studs to add, but my fingers are just about bleeding from 7 hours of sewing, so saving that for tomorrow. :thumb:

Tell me what you think about both jackets, likes/dislikes, etc.! :thumb:

coheneran 12-24-2005 09:22 PM

I loved the second one. The first one was pretty cool, but it lacked the big bold CRASS.

Aus Rotten 12-24-2005 09:28 PM

True, heh! That first jacket I made about 2 years ago as I said, this jacket I just made I was obviously aiming for a crust/anarcho theme, and once I get it studded/finished patching, I think it'll look bada'ss, but then again, i'm making it so I have a biased opinion, hah. Anyways, thanks for the feedback! :thumb:

AIRIC 12-24-2005 09:30 PM

The first one was too cluttered I think.

Aus Rotten 12-24-2005 09:33 PM

Same, i've heard that from people. When it's worn though, it looks a lot better I think.

Ghostfire3 12-24-2005 11:11 PM

Looks pretty good to me. :thumb:

Wow that leather one looks terrible. Sorry but your artistic/handwriting skills are not up to snuff for your typical handpainted leather jacket.

Yeah, it pretty much sucks.

Ghostfire3 12-25-2005 09:54 PM

Heh, I wasn't going to say anything about the leather one, but since it's already out there... The way you wrote Cock Sparrer looks kinda shitty. But, the vest is pretty cool.

AIRIC 12-25-2005 10:31 PM

The vest is nice. The other one is retarded.

I'd strongly suggest you start using stencils. Even if you're freehanding was good, stencils are a better idea for permanent stuff like that. That way you know that the image is going to look like what you want it to.

As long as I'm on the DIY thread, I'll tell you how to make some lovely mulled cider. I just discovered the perfect formula. I used Blackthorn cider, and put a pint (measured from a pint glass) in a pan. Set it on heat and sprinkled some cinammon into it (we don't have cinnamon sticks, those would be better). I put a clove in it, two if you like it spicier, and two slices of orange. Stir it every thirty seconds or so, and once it starts boiling, put a spoonful of brown sugar in it and stir it in. Then turn off the heat, pour it in the pint glass (make sure the glass is not cold, or it will probably crack, my first one did =P) and drink away. It is extremely satisfying, especially here, where it just snowed. And it took me like three minutes to make. Enjoy.
