The Brad 03-17-2007 12:12 AM

Haha, what happened to pursuing a career in writing?

Spaceman Spiff 03-17-2007 12:13 AM

Yeah, I'm still interested in that. I just need to get a job for a while, I don't want to go to school yet.

Pinhead13 03-17-2007 12:14 AM

The Brad 03-17-2007 12:14 AM

Understandable, I took the same path. After working retail for 3 months, I realized school probably wasn't that bad.

Spaceman Spiff 03-17-2007 12:16 AM

I still want to go to school, just not yet... :p

Yeah.....I'm having the same thoughts right now.

The Brad 03-17-2007 12:20 AM

Fair enough, fair enough. But I am sure you can maintain your party life style in college, it seems to be the typical fare.

Yeah, man work blows but we must do it for toys. :\

Spaceman Spiff 03-17-2007 12:25 AM

I'm thinking F-Bass BN6.

Jody LeCompte 03-17-2007 12:29 AM

So.

Im EXTREMELY thrilled that I wasted 300 dollars on an mp3 player and then 30 dollars on napster and I cant use either of them.

The Brad 03-17-2007 12:29 AM

Jagshemash! Very nice, I touched a few in my days as Quatre's apprentice.

My current wet dream. :x

Spaceman Spiff 03-17-2007 12:33 AM

That's cool. I've never played one, which is the main reason I'm afraid to get one.

How's the neck? I like a thin neck, the neck on my SR506 is really thin.

The factory is only about an hour from where I live, but I haven't made it down there yet.

Did you try what I told you like 2 weeks ago?

The Brad 03-17-2007 12:36 AM

The back of the neck is thinner, if I remember correctly but the width is probably about the same.

Definitely worth it to test it out before purchasing if that's even an option. They are nice, but I think I am destined to play economy basses.

Jody LeCompte 03-17-2007 12:37 AM

Reel Big Fish solos have a serious brad nowell vibe.

Polyamarous 03-17-2007 05:57 AM

Reel Big Fish are the epitome of cool.

Thunder Fingers 03-17-2007 07:16 AM

funkyhoney 03-17-2007 07:17 AM

violin > you

i've seen 7 string fretted violins, crazy. if you like that check out Emilie Autumn, similar, but recently far more 'dark'.

she's daaaamn good, sings to :) invented her own genre, 'victoriandustrial'.

anyway, i'm going to bed.

Thunder Fingers 03-17-2007 07:19 AM

3 flats and a roundwound feels rather weird. also a 5 inch wide strap is fecking big! but it removes alot of weight, and these bastards are heavy.

Polyamarous 03-17-2007 08:06 AM

Don't suppose any of you know how to record videos off of youtube?

Thunder Fingers 03-17-2007 08:26 AM

Thomastik the only ones who make 6 strings in flatwound?

TimJim 03-17-2007 08:40 AM

...

That was completely brilliant.
I would go learn violin right now because of that, if I didn't know violin is such an impossible instrument to learn.
Distorted violin is the coolest thing I have ever heard.
