They're like an indie Bruce Springsteen. sorta, I just always think of the boss when I listen to them.

I get really into the hold steady, then burn out for 5 months.

I got a bunch of albums for Christmas that I'll be digging for a while. They are:
Red House Painters-Rollercoaster
Sonic Youth-Sister
Tom Waits-Orphans
Yo La Tengo-I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One
The Replacements-Let it Be
Ween-La Cucaracha
Fugazi-13 Songs
Also got Our Band Could Be Your Life, which looks to be an awesome book, and a Frank Zappa DVD.

ATM 12-25-2007 10:04 PM

Which Zappa DVD?

Time 12-25-2007 10:08 PM

It's just Frank Zappa Live at the NYC Pier 1984. I think my brother just got it for me from the bargain bin at Barnes and Noble  But it still looks good.

Nope, although I think I found out about the book from one of your posts a while ago. These are all just CDs that I've wanted for a long time that I really want to physically own.
