ludvista29 07-01-2006 07:56 PM

I'm happy, to day I went fishing and caught 2 bass.

Aaron 07-01-2006 08:06 PM

In my opinion, Chad Smith is the new Barker/Jordinson on this board. Everyone of late has jumped on the "i love chad" bandwagon and it's abit ironic.

Brokensticks 07-01-2006 08:18 PM

Well what's not to love about Chad. I loved him before I came on here so no flaming me.

fishbulb 07-01-2006 08:57 PM

I just got back from Applebee's. That place is DAMN good.

I beg to differ.

Since when has death metal been pop? And I don't mean Opeth-type stuff, I mean die-hard Necrophagist type death. Would you consider that art?

Me, too.

Don't get what you're getting on about.

fishbulb 07-01-2006 09:09 PM

I need to take a shower, i went to the beach and now i have a bunch of saltwater in my hair and private parts.

Janeway 07-01-2006 09:17 PM

I'm going to start a glam band, but instead of a transgendered male singer, I'm having a trans female singer.I've always thought that would be hella cool.
Now all I need is to find an FTM and get him to wear sticky leather.
Foo.

thats a stupid way of thinking about that. pop stands for popular. meaning whatever music is popular at the time is considered pop music.

hair metal was popular, jazz was popular, now metal is popular. same as a few years ago rap was popular.

that doesnt make it good or bad music, music is whatever it wants to be, you have the right to like whatever music you want. but you dont have the right to down someone elses music, for any reason at all. its there expressions, just as your music is your expression.

Are your beach's clean? The ones in buffalo are super dirty.. The water is like a mixture of oil and the ooze of dead fish..

He could be a cool kid but he REALLY needs to catch with the gear knowledge..
Like, anyone who "says" they're gonna buy and is serious about should know that Zxt's are a beginner cymbal.

I was never using pop to define a genre of music. Hell it was closer to the pop culture definition if anything.

Tell me when I did.

Shut up plz.

Janeway 07-01-2006 09:37 PM

Aaaaah.
I love the beaches in the Buffalo area.
We found this massive fish thing with it's the roof of it's mouth disconnected from it's jaw bone, it's eye pryed out and laying on the side of the pier, and a huge piece of drift wood jammed up through it's side.
The last time I wandered down Olcott beach, there had to have been at least 1500 dead fish strewn all the way down one little section. There were atleast two piles of vomit from someone else going that way because the smell was just so unbearable.

Swimming in the lakes is fun, though. =/

Zildjian 07-01-2006 09:47 PM

^^ Its worse now. All we got going in here is the Goo Goo Dolls and The Sabres lol

What Id like to know is what made you come here?? Niagara Falls?
Are your beach's clean? The ones in buffalo are super dirty.. The water is like a mixture of oil and the ooze of dead fish..
Yeah, they're pretty clean. I live in California, near Los Angeles.

Janeway 07-01-2006 09:59 PM

I didn't have a choice?
I was born here.

Brokensticks 07-01-2006 10:33 PM

Well Styler is right - it seemed like you implied that. But now it's cleared up you didnt so lets get on with life :D

Janeway 07-01-2006 10:36 PM

I, for one, am on Futuros side, and think that we should go on an all out -rep spree on Styler.

Brokensticks 07-01-2006 10:38 PM

Well it seemed like he was saying that pop music isnt art. Music is an art and even though theres different styles it is an art people play their own way.

Janeway 07-01-2006 10:41 PM

Pop is bubblegum art.
Like, the stuff they display when you first waltz into an art gallery, and everybody can turn there head, go "Ooooh" and completely understand what it's about with out a second thought.
=/

Futuro 07-01-2006 10:43 PM
Well it seemed like he was saying that pop music isnt art. Music is an art and even though theres different styles it is an art people play their own way.
I already said I didnt mean it as a genre. But then again putting a genre on something does kinda help my point.... Death metal stays within certain limits. Same with every other genre, when someone surpasses the limits that have been set by various other bands/artist within the same genre, I would consider them "art."

Again, it is my way of looking at something. I could care less what you guys think honestly.

EDIT: Fixed my crappy grammar.

Brokensticks 07-01-2006 10:56 PM

we don't care about grammer. But thats ok we mistook your words. Anyways.....
Anyone going to see the Chilis soon!?

Futuro 07-01-2006 11:22 PM

Finally got these game shark codes to work on psxe  Imma go cheat my way through all my favorite video games.

Jezen 07-02-2006 12:58 AM

It's a bit sad really. I almost pity them.

Drum Phil 07-02-2006 04:47 AM

I DO pity them. Theres many things a bored teenager can do. I must have more free time than anyone and you dont see me spamming pr0n everywhere.
