Mr. Black 03-28-2006 11:48 AM

Also, has anyone got Ceasar III, and if so do you know how to make money?
what size are your feet?
11/12
I think my shoes may have been mislabelled.
Yeah, I just got mine back on sunday.
Then accept the offer you want, pick another as insurance and then decline the rest.

I only got two offers, so I didn't have to bother with the declining.
I've got one acceptance and one decline, I don't even care about the other course I chose, do you think it's possible to just discard it so I can get on with sorting out my accomodation and stuff?

PAJJ 03-28-2006 11:59 AM

I think you have to wait for all you offers to come in before you can confirm, but it's always good just to get the insaurance offer.
What course do you want to do?

Sounds like a blast! Take it you need lots of skill for that course?

Lord Abortion 03-28-2006 12:17 PM

I'm doing English lit at Glasgow...cheapest pint of beer in the student union of any university in the UK.

How much?

I think a friend of mine done that course but dropped out, but I might have dreamt it.
I hate Converses. They're not Shoes, they're two peices of material sowed to a block of rubber. They wouldn't last 2 minutes with me.
Same here I dislike wearing converse. I much prefer your normal skate shoe such as my Vans XL2s

I can't remember, it was something ludicrously cheap, though, like £1.20

Awesome, although I'm sure there are some clubs in Glasgow where it's sometimes only £1

Cool, Bath is a great city :)

Untitled 03-28-2006 04:21 PM

Bath Spa is supposed to be the best graphics uni inthe country, or so i heard.

After my foundation i migh try and get it, might stay in manc. though.

PAJJ 03-28-2006 04:44 PM

From what i've seen Bath seems like a cool place, and it's got a good reputation. It seemed like the best place for me though, and the tutors seemed pretty cool.
I went to Goldsmiths and didn't get on with one of the tutors, it got to the point during my interview i said "what the **** are you chatting about", and i'm not kidding. Needless to say i didn't get in.

Lord Abortion 03-28-2006 05:03 PM

FOD,me hearties

the_uber_penguin 03-28-2006 05:09 PM

Man, FOD has been competitive recantly...

Jev 03-29-2006 03:12 AM

FOAD :D

I have to do an oral presentation at 2.15 today. I'm crapping it because I haven't got my speech fully done yet.

the_uber_penguin 03-29-2006 04:37 AM

Wing it.

Either that or run like hell.

Or, take it too literally and give yourself oral in front of the class.

Or don't listen to me at all.

What's the presentation on anyway?

Jev 03-29-2006 05:32 AM

Capital punishment. I believe it should be re-instated here. I hope Moaner doesn't see this post.

Mr. Black 03-29-2006 10:01 AM

I do too, it's the only way people will learn.

Adam Jones is GOD 03-29-2006 11:24 AM

Just re-instate some of the medival ways. Nothing would work better than pelting rotten fruit at chavs in stocks in a town centre

Jev 03-29-2006 12:24 PM

That would be brilliant. Did you know recently a few Iraqis tortured some of our own soldiers to death yet the UK refuses to hang them because it's against their rights.
Capital punishment. I believe it should be re-instated here. I hope Moaner doesn't see this post.
As moaner hasn't seen this I shall comment. As soon as courts can conclusivley assure a mans guilt then capital punishment/execution should be allowed. Until that day life inprisonment is as good as. However I do agree that life doesn't mean life anymore and lengths should be taken to tighten up convictions. There also goin a bit too far with this whole human rights milarky.

Jev 03-29-2006 12:59 PM

I actually found out today that anyone sentenced to under 4 years will* be released after serving half their sentence. And I also found that anyone serving more than 4 years can apply for parole halfway through their sentence.
That makes me think, what's the point in sentencing people to 10 years when they can be out in 5? Why not sentence them to 20 so they serve 10.

*the site said so.

2muchket! 03-29-2006 01:16 PM

B'ull**** I know the legal system isn't good by any stretch of the mind.

Jev 03-29-2006 01:54 PM
