wouldnt theiur name say enough
Normally but a certain source I have said they were cool. I mean, I like some cheesy black/thrash I guess. Oh well, we will see. I wasn't expecting much.

Morumbar 08-09-2010 03:46 PM

So I buckled down and checked out Hate Forest's Battlefields. ****'s great. What's the next album I should listen to?

Aakon_Keetreh 08-09-2010 04:44 PM

new Drudkh is going to be awesome.

Aakon_Keetreh 08-09-2010 10:47 PM

i hope its good

Bleekill 08-09-2010 10:57 PM

I've been a fan of everything they have done so I'm pretty confident it will be.

I might not love the production because it'll probably be super clean but it'll still be good.

iranscam 08-09-2010 11:57 PM

Just saw Ash Borer and Fell Voices. **** was so awesome. Ash Borer were fantastic but Fell Voices was the ****. They didn't use mics and the vox could be heard clearly over the deafening kvltness. Also, they did a black metal Death In June cover. Nuff said.

Bleekill 08-09-2010 11:58 PM

****ing nice, I'd love to see them live. I think I prefer Fell Voices on record too, but Ash Borer is sick.

Lol, awesome.

And I don't think any new Drudkh will have a super clean production. Microcosmos wasn't over-the-top produced either.

rasputin 08-10-2010 05:49 AM

the production was very clean though, at least for black metal

the new one will be the same or more so, prob

Lost Wisdom

Although I do enjoy listening to black metal, I feel the meaning of what 'black metal' used to mean and signify is dead.Bands like Burzum, Immortal, Mayhem, Bathory etc. didn't choose some label and say, "We're going to be black metal"

It was a way of life, an attitude, in the old days, it could even be considered a cult, now it just annoys me how any 17 year old kid can put on corpse paint, writes some poopty songs, gets on stage and considers or even refers to his music as "black metal" in my eyes, its a damn shame.Lost Wisdom

it's my favourite of their crust stuff

haven't heard Circle The Wagons though

Brew 08-10-2010 08:49 AM

I'll give it a listen inabit.

Circle the Wagons has a few 'wtf' moments but its generally a great album.

Although I do enjoy listening to black people, I feel the meaning of what 'African American' used to mean and signify is dead. Guys like Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. etc. didn't go into politics and say, "We're going to be president"

It was a way of life, an attitude, in the old days, it could even be considered thuglife, now it just annoys me how any black man can put on a nice suit, says "yes we can", gets to become president of America and considers or even refers to the colour of his skin as "black" in my eyes, it's a damn shame. nostalgic satanist ?

Morumbar 08-10-2010 09:31 AM

Of course appearing all "true", "cult" and "grim" is much more important than making good music. I mean it's not like black metal is still just a music style and that it's basically about the music.

masscows 08-10-2010 10:27 AM

I do admire those early bm musicians, especially Quorthon and Varg, but black metal would be even worse off if people tried to be like them instead of taking it in their own direction

RetiredAt21 08-10-2010 10:56 AM

Haz if you wanna hear some weird **** you should check out Antikriist.

Aakon_Keetreh 08-10-2010 11:26 AM

Varg is badass honestly.

Nepenthe 08-10-2010 12:54 PM
