What a great day. So I wake up this morning and look online and I looked up the review to the Metallica/Stones concert and wanted to cry and then i'm brought out of 7th period only to find out my grandma died. Couldn't have had a better day

Indeed. I haven't bothered listening to the rest of the album yet, just the opener.
how's Jim Jom?
Just stick to Jom around here, please, thanks. It saves me the confusion, heh.

I'm doing reasonably well, by the way. I just received my second Honors paper back, with a score of B+/A-. I've never, ever, ever in my life received a mark like that. But the reasoning for the score is solid. It's also a huuuuuuuuge relief off my shoulders until I have to write this next ridiculous paper for another class :-\

I just got back from the post office to mail a padded envelope full of albums for a friend for her birthday. I burned/mixed her six albums, but could only fit three along with my letter to her :o

Oh well... at least it'll get there in a couple days (knock on wood).

Haha, hey. Yep, that's him. I love him for his Liberty Medical commercials during The Price is Right. Good Lord, every single commercial during The Price is Right is set for the 65+ demographic.

Commercial: "Are you irregular?"
65+ year-old target audience: "Ohhhh, yeah."
Commercial: "Have you been diagnosed with IBS?"
65+ year-old target audience: "Ohhhh, yeah."
Commercial: "Do you want to get into Bob Barker's pants?"
65+ year-old target audience: "OHHHH, YEAH! ANY PRICE WOULD BE RIGHT!"
Commercial: "Well, drink Metamucil. Fiber solidifes your poo and maintains regularity."

Commercial: "Do you have trouble getting around? Then call the Scooter Store. Got bad credit? No problem. We'll just slam your family with charges after your ass is dead and in the ground."
65+ year-old target audience: "That's a tough commercial..."

And then the endless commercials for Medicare, Medicaid, and of course, Wilford Brimley's Liberty Medical.

As for commercials for the 18-35 demographic? Pfft. Nowhere to be found, heh.

Josh 11-14-2005 04:01 PM
Awesome; I was the exact same. That album changed my life. If you can find a cheap copy of Lies, I'd recommend picking that up too. The Illusions are a bit hit-and-miss.
