I think there's only one classic rock band I don't like.
And it's Aerosmith.
So do you like Styx, Journey, and Foreigner, too? ....eww |
I'm having a brain fart what's WYWH stand for?
edit: nevermind, wish you were here obviously. |
So do you like Styx, Journey, and Foreigner, too?
....eww
You forgot Rush. |
You forgot Rush.
JPJ likes Rush though. |
My radio station plays the great gig in the sky, lunatic and eclipse together, Another brick in the wall (both parts), Wish you were here and Comfortably numb(a few times). Oh and us and them i think.
|
So do you like Styx, Journey, and Foreigner, too?
....eww
1. I wouldn't really consider them "classic." 2. I forgot about them. 3. I don't really listen to them. 4. ....there is no number 4? |
Rush should never be grouped with those bands. They are three of the most talented musicians of all fucking time.
/fact |
Neil Peart > the other two
Alex > Geddy |
Quoted for tr00f.
np: The Traveling Wilburies - Handle With Care
I love the Wilburies. Nobody at my school have ever heard of them, except me obviously. I only have volume 1 and am searching for Vol. 3. Handle With Care is a great song. I honestly hate Rush, but have to admit that they are extremely talented. np: Got To Get You Into My Life |
You forgot Rush.
That was very uncool. Rush is much less cheesy and much more talented than those bands. edit: and Forigner owns you all :( |
I love the Wilburies. Nobody at my school have ever heard of them, except me obviously.
I really like them too. Can't go wrong with Bob Dylan and George Harrison. Edit - Has anyone seen The Doors? I tried watching it a while ago, but I didn't really like it. |
and Forigner owns you all :(
Look at the arena-rock loser! |

123. I've been listening to a lot of proto-punk lately. Iggy & The Stooges, Patti Smith, MC5, The Velvet Underground, that stuff. |

Edit - Has anyone seen The Doors? I tried watching it a while ago, but I didn't really like it.
I've seen The Doors. I think it's a great movie, although it's not altogether the most reliable source if you are looking for an actual biography on Jim Morrison/The Doors. The depicted him more as a crazy drug addict, as opposed to an alcoholic who isn't nearly as crazy as they made him out to be. And for the record....I like Foreigner! edit- and my radio station plays a lot of Floyd. Not just like their few main songs you'd normally hear too (Money, Another Brick in the Wall, Comfortably Numb etc). Last night they played One of These Days, if I recall correctly. |
I've been digging The Books, Porcupine Tree, Kasabian, Nine Inch Nails, and Radiohead.

Those aren't classic rock!! |
One time they played On the Run on the radio. I thought it was quite odd.
I got Sabbath Bloody Sabbath today, and it's fucking awesome.
Yeah it is a great album. I've heard SOYCD, Hey You, Run Like Hell, Have a Cigar, Money, Time, ABITW pt.2, WYWH, Learning to Fly, Breathe and a few others. |

David Bowie and Iggy Pop
Low, Lust For Life, and The Idiot = underrated albums |

Anyone want to send me a Travelling Wilburies Album?
|
Alex > Geddy

What? Not a chance.
Agreed.
Anyone want to send me a Travelling Wilburies Album?
Anyone want to send me Electric Music for the Mind and Body..... |
Agreed.
Agreed. I do think there is a Foreigner song I like, Cold as Ice or something? |
Agreed.
I do think there is a Foreigner song I like, Cold as Ice or something?
The one where at the beginning it's just piano and vocals and he says "She as cold as ice..."? |

That sounds like a Dana Carvey sketch where he made up a song about some woman 'Choppin' Broccoli' |
