Pink Floyd - Ummagumma
LP came today. a saucerful of secrets is ****ing amazing ......... on the end of that right now.
yes, both are good |
yea. meant the song, just had to check now to figure out what the deal but i guess set the controls and saucerful appear on both albums. listening to band 5 / 6 right now .. its great, reminds me of goodbye blue sky which is one of my favorites on the wall. sysyphus was epic, unique for a pink floyd piece as far as i know. just a real nasty orchestral piece

Narrow Way is the best with Sysyphus at second. |
the cover is neat, i'm debating whether to pay 40 bucks to see them in August when I already saw them for free in May.
Dinosaur Jr. - Farm Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
i'd say it would be worth it; the two times i've seen them ranks among the greatest live shows i've ever experienced |
Outkast - Speakerboxx/The Love Below
Six years later Roses is still smooth as hell. |

yeah i saw them on the National Mall and it was right up there with Wilco and SY as the best show I've seen, but it was only a 7 song set. only problem is, i think there's only lawn seats left and the lawn wouldnt be worth it |
i've never heard of concerts on the national mall. what other bands have done that? or was it part of one of those huge anti-war protests?
|
it was on earth day, they have them every year there now. i had to sit through seven hours of sun, Chevy Chase's senile ramblings, and listening to moe., but Flaming Lips were so worth it
|
Converge
|
yeah that flaming lips performance was sweet, even moe was pretty sick as i was smoking hard, the lineup was really good last year too, too bad it got rained out
|
Phoenix - Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix
My Disco - Paradise |

Black Sabbath vol4 is really great, ive been listening to it a lot. esp Under the Sun.
side 2 is definitely better to me, Snowblind is ****in great.... which i read that they were going to title the album after until the last minute when the label changed it on them. cool |

Butthole Surfers - Psychic...Powerless...Another Man's Sac possibly better than LAT. less filler, all good songs
Their best album in my opinion. Most of the albums I've listened to lately were nothing spectacular but I have been loving the new record by a local band called A Name Unheard. |
