its set in 1880s australia and theres three brother outlaws, and they capture two of the brothers, so the sheriff dude tell the one that he has to kill his other brother by christmas or theyll hang the other dude they captured. it was pretty intense/violent.

Every one of those that I have seen is great. Cache will probably annoy the crap out of you. Let me know when you've watched it though, I did my final English Extension essay on it and [I]Rear Window[/I].

word, that **** was intense. the very end is pretty tranquil in comparison though, its weird the change of pace. also the soundtrack was really good, it sounded like a bunch of post rock and folk.

Yeah, the soundtrack was amazing. Nick Cave and Warren Ellis (Dirty Three/Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) did it. The song in the opening credits was particularly amazing. It was perfect, really.

There's a theater concert in Denmark (which is like a musical, but there's no coherent storyline... I think) with Nick Cave's songs translated to Danish. It's gotten killer reviews, I really want to see it.

I like to think I have a pretty high tolerance for violence, but as good as it is, The Proposition has some really f[FONT="Verdana"]u[/FONT]cked up scenes.

The Proposition was nice. I saw it with L'Enfant as part of a double feature. Gonna watch René Clément's Forbidden Games tonight. French films++
