I guess the reason is that I'm an idiot. I'm on it man. |
Everybody knows this is Nowhere and Tonight's the Night are pretty essential

Rivers Cuomo - Alone: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo
This is easilly the most interesting thing Rivers has released for a long time. I'm not really sure how good it is yet, but it's certainly got interesting ideas and a cool intimacy to it. It really sounds like the product of somebody mucking around at home rather than a polished release. Probably because it is. |
Is there any way you could upload that to the mailing list?
|
Lightning Bolt - Hypermagic Mountain

Lots and lots of John Fahey.

Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet
Holy **** - LP |
Books - Lost and Safe

Please refrain from using the word "interesting" Nothing against you I just hate that word. |
Seems an odd thing to hate.
|
Its a horrible blanket word.
|
Please refrain from using the word "interesting"
Nothing against you I just hate that word.
I shall try and keep that in mind.
Is there any way you could upload that to the mailing list?
I might upload it to the mailing list, but I'm lazy so probably not. Besides, it'll be all over the internet in a few days and if you looked for it hard enough you could get it. |
Sufjan Stevens
trying to beat this cold so I can par-tay this weekend |
Metal Urbain - Anarchy in Paris
Apparently, they are a seminal french synth/post punk band from the late 70s who have greatly influenced Steve Albini. Also the first band to release anything on Rough Trade. Anyway, they are good, but it does get a little repetitive after awhile. |
