This was all on my local classic rock station, so it should all be pretty reliable.
Yea,they are pretty reliable, especially the one around here. |
Do you know what time on September 11th the tickets go on sale?
|
Think the Cream tickets will be as much as they were in London? I'm guessing they will be, sadly.
My mom has an American Express card...
Do you know what time on September 11th the tickets go on sale?
Jack Bruce's website says 9 a.m. on Sept. 12th |

Probably. My birthday's September 22nd, so maybe I can persuade my parents to get Cream tickets as a main present. I don't have the money to pay for tickets myself. Pet Sounds is a good cd. This is the first time I'm giving it a real chance (listening to it all the way through). |
Cream Tix on sale?
More Pink Floyd reunions? This is the first time this thread has brought me good news! /hurrys to ticketmaster On a related note...I cant stand Beach Boys; couldnt withstand pet sounds for more then 5 minutes. way to poppy. |
I just saw Joni Mitchell get inducted to the Rock n' Roll hall of fame by Graham Nash
It was on Bravo  |
The Who - Amazing Journey/Sparks, My Generation, The Real Me
Cream - Tales of Brave Ulysses, Spoonful (Live from WoF), Toad I can't decide whether I should save up the money for Cream or not. |
Personally, I wouldn't bother saving up for the Cream show. I honestly don't expect it to be any good. I'm sure it'll be cool to see Cream live, but I don't think they'll put on a great show or anything.
|
Honestly I thought their London show was pretty damn good.
|
Is that so? Well, I didn't see it. Perhaps I'm wrong. It would certainly come as a pleasant surprise.
|
The bootleg was floating around this thread awhile back.
|
Do you think it'll still be up?
|
Someone could probably upload or send it to you, I don't remember the site where we all got it.
Bad news :( |
I have the reunion on CD, but not video (since you said wacth it). If theres a video then id defintaly like to have it.
Them prices are sort of rediculous. As much as id like to believe their bogus, its possible it could be like that. Ive heard some reviews that the show in London wasnt that great, but id still pay a hefty price to see them. |
I've seen prices at two different sources, and they've both had the same range for one ticket. I definitely can't afford that.
|
That's absurdly expensive.
|

Bad news :(
WOW!!! is that the ticket prices?!?!?!!!!!!! $2000! |
Holy crap, 450$ for the shi*ty tickets! If they were the Gratful Dead, they would put on a free show
EDIT: Today I tried to explain Tommy to the foreign exchange student from Japan :D |
Yea nevermind, there's definently no way I can afford those tickets, especially with needing money to pay for college.
I'll just get the dvd. |

EDIT: Today I tried to explain Tommy to the foreign exchange student from Japan :D
You have a Japanese exchange student? Hot. Now I'm very sure that it's not worthwhile to save up money for Cream tickets. They may be good, but I'm positive they're not $500+ good. |
Yea nevermind, there's definently no way I can afford those tickets, especially with needing money to pay for college.
I'll just get the dvd.
Hmm, college or Cream show. Which costs more  Seriously, an important part of the quality of a concert is the audience vibe, if it is a bunch of super rich kids, and rich folks that can afford it, the vibe might be a little off. The lack of weed in the air is always a sad thing at a concert, I wonder if it would be present in that sort of audience.. |
**** that ****. THough being behind the stage would be better, you get to really watch the drummer.
|
I like Deep purple... I think they are better than other classic rock group but they are quite underrated :thumb:

You might wanna ask in the AC/DC thread. |
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD THOSE CREAM TICKETS ARE EXPENSIVE.
NP: Pink Floyd- Atom Heart Mother |
Out of curiousity, what's everyone's favorite song by Cream & The Who? For me:
The Who: The Acid Queen Cream: Badge
The Who: My Generation, The Kids Are Alright, A Legal Matter, Baba O'Riley, Bargain, Won't Get Fooled Again, The Real Me, 1921, Amazing Journey/Sparks, I Can't Explain Cream: I Feel Free EDIT: Anyone else notice how Bob Dylan songs rarely ever have a chorus? It just dawned on me...I never really noticed it before. |
I like Deep purple... I think they are better than other classic rock group but they are quite underrated :thumb:
True that they are quite underrated. Most the credit goes to Zeppelin for being the origins of metal, though I believe it was much more Deep Purple....because, well, they're far heavier on average. They're one of my 5 favorite bands. My favorite Who song: We're Not Gonna Take it (Woodstock version) Cream song: Swalbr |
I don't know what makes people call Zeppelin metal. I personally don't hear any metal in them. I agree though, Deep Purple is very underrated.
Favourite Who song: I can see for miles I don't really have a favourite cream song..if I had to pick one i guess it would be White Room. |
Out of curiousity, what's everyone's favorite song by Cream & The Who? For me:
The Who: The Acid Queen Cream: Badge
I'm not a fan of either of them. Deep Purple underrated? Personally I think they're overrated. As for the ticket cost for Cream: I'd only pay that much to see a show if all 4 Beatles were still alive and wanted to have a reunion, Syd wanted to play one finale time (with or without the Floyd) or if Jeff Beck ever played in the US but none of that is ever going to happen anyway. :( |
my favorite cream song is probably sunshine of your love
|
any puddle of mud fans in hear? i personally love the song she ****ing hates me.
|
The Who: Trick of the Light, Drowned, 5:15, Naked Eye, Go to the Mirror, Sparks, Armenia City in the Sky, A Quick One, While He's Away, Magic Bus
Cream: I Feel Free, Tales of Brave Ulysses |
My favorite song by The Who is probably The Seeker, maybe?
Cream I'll have to think about. |
Deep Purple underrated? Personally I think they're overrated. (
Alot of people say that Deep Purple was the first spawn of metal/hard rock. Wouldn't you think that Stepenwolf(sp?) had that sound first? |
I only own Deep Purple's Machine Head, and it's one of the more underwhemling albums in my collection.
|
I think the first metal band was black sabbath,i dont mean that they inspired it,but they were the first.Im sure that sabbath was probably inspired by deep purple or steppenwolf,IMO.
|
No way can those tickets cost that much... That best Stones tickets are like 500 bucks, and the Stones are waaaaay more famous then Cream (although not as good.) I'm not going to believe that...
On a brighter note, I'm just getting to Emerson Lake and Palmer. Keith Emerson is one heck of an amazing keybordist, and Lake and Palmer (I dunno what their respective instroments are) are both great. NP: Fanfare For The Common Man |
