man, today i've spent nearly 6 hours in total studying for my cal II test tommorrow. i feel very odd right now. i feel like my brain is shot to hell and i feel worried/anxious/heavily pressured about the test for some reason.

i also feel like any small problem could set me off into a serious case of a "i don't give a rat's ***" kind of attitude. i'm fighting the laziness off as hard as i can but it isn't easy. i was going to study until 11:30 but i gave up after 9:30. i hope it doesn't come back to bit me in the *** tommorrow.

i need some mx time to ease the mind.

At school today I was practising to perform at a year assembly when some dumbasses from a grade below me came in and started dicking around on the drums and guitars. Normally I wouldn't care too much, but they were making so much noise I couldn't hear myself.

So I ask em to leave, or at least play a little softer, and they just (childishly) repeat what I say (in a gay voice, of course). ****, I hate it. And I can't figure out anything I can do to stop them. After all, you can't exactly make people do things.

Ah man, that should sweet. Looks like I'd actually be capable of playing this too, one of my favorite things to do is to take say the snare drum pattern, play it on the ride bell, then put a different ostinato on the feet (samba, double bass 16ths, whatever), and then maybe play a backbeat, thrash,. even a blast with the left hand, nice way of taking something very jazzy and light and making it heavy.

Sweet Jesus. It just took me two hours to get to work. It's raining like crazy today and a bunch of traffic lights went out. This sucks, now I have to stay at work an extra hour.
