I've decided Panic!'s album might be the best of the year. I dunno yet, Jack's Mannequin The Academy Is... and Finch are tough contenders

Well there is a me. It depends on if the letters have to be in order or not.

I think the new Thrice album could end up being one of the best of the year for me (hopefully). I'm definately interested in hearing the Panic! at the Disco album as well.

I don't like Ruiner that much. It just seems kind of bland compared to Mute Print.

I love it, but [I]Mute Print[/I] is incredible as well.

there is such a thing as overrated, my favorite band is blink182, like a lot of people, but i still think there overrated....

After the foundation course, you have to go and do a course where you live away! That's one of the best things about uni.


In other news, there is now an almost certain chance that my band will be playing at a festival next summer. Not a big one, let's be fair here, but it's still a festival. :eek:

And yes. A childhood friend of my bassist lives on a farm in Norfolk, and every year they put on a music festival with a couple of stages, and quite a lot of people come to it now. We saw him at the party last night, and as he's partly in charge of booking bands, he's going to get us an evening Main Stage slot.
