hello all
i only just managed to rid my computer of a couple of Trojans and various virus' it had contracted. bloody vrirus!!
anyone ever had problems with a site called "isearch"?

PaulR 12-13-2004 10:04 AM

Yes! Me me. i think it was that anyway.

If you used google, did it redirect you to another search engine?

And were random words like "love" and "hardcore" underlined on mx?

Muadip 12-13-2004 10:11 AM

Nice paul... what kind of music do you play?

:smoke:

PaulR 12-13-2004 10:16 AM

Hmm. Its kinda like metallica-ish metal, but slightly more tuneful.

The guitarists are only 13, but blow all the guitarists my age away. One of them can actually play at least four instruments to incredibly high standards.

Muadip 12-13-2004 10:23 AM

:) sounds nice.... Our drummer is also pretty young (14.. rest of the band is all around 20) but he's still really good for his age :p ..and a cool fellow

:smoke:

PaulR 12-13-2004 10:25 AM

Yeah. When i first met the guitarists i was like woah... 13? you must be joking.

But no, they are just really good and mature for their age.

ElKapitan 12-13-2004 10:27 AM

well, its still messing with the internet after i've run AVG twice and removed about 4 trojans and three infected folders
any other ideas anyone?

Wintermute 12-13-2004 10:28 AM

I've come across those before - it highlights words you've searched in the past :naughty:

ElKapitan 12-13-2004 10:33 AM

when i post a msge or try to open a thread it redirects me to isearch

PaulR 12-13-2004 10:48 AM

It annoyed me as well. I couldn't search for anything without about 26 popups.

peeted 12-13-2004 10:51 AM

hey Luke.
how's it going?

Espbassor 12-13-2004 03:32 PM

Wow, I feel kind of weird answering the questions on my computer hacking final. This is one of the questions:

6. Give a step-by-step example of how you would hack into and conceal a Windows NT system? (15 pts)

They have one for Win 9x, UNIX, and Novell 9x too. Win 9x was the easiest so far :p

:amaze: 12-13-2004 03:33 PM

Not bad ... I just sneezed. It kinda hurt because I didn't hold back at all.

:amaze:

bottlerocket 12-13-2004 03:33 PM

Heyy Luke.

I had science club and math team, and we're having a newspaper meeting...I'm conducting it as we speak. The news editor Richard is talking now, though. :p

I'm editor in chief, so I just sit there while the other sub editors talk, then I give my big speech and sound important. :p

Too bad I have no "uplifting ministry" tonight...I just sit there and play bass, which is just as good I guess.
