New music

I've been listening to a new local band. They are called Humanlab. They are similar to alternative, but a little bit more mellow. I can't wait to see one of their concerts

Jacaranda 07-08-2009 01:46 PM

the new tyondai braxton song is pretty cool, not as good as battles but coooool

YourBiggestFan 07-08-2009 07:19 PM

yeah, it's not as rock-y as battles.

I've been going on some Moon Safaris lately.
Are there any other Air albums worth looking into? They've got a pretty big discography. . .

did you see SY perriwinkle

wang masta flex 07-08-2009 11:23 PM

yea it was awesome. they opened with Tom Violence, one of the songs i wanted to see the most. the crowd wasnt too into it but its DC. like nobody was moving at all, except one crazy shirtless chick dancing around in her bra. also, thurston started some songs with a very awkward "1! 2! 3! 4!" but definitely a great show in general.

cbmartinez 07-08-2009 11:35 PM

talkie walkie is fantastic

unwound - the future of what

niobium 07-10-2009 12:48 AM

so i'm giving up my part time job to move into a full time gig. only reason i'm regret letting it go is i was allowed to listen to music, so i had a promised four hours of music dedication per day. it makes me sad that i have to find a new routine for regular music and it will take some getting used to but even then i won't be able to process quite as much as i have been.

on my last week ive been listening to

blonde redhead - misery is a butterfly
discordance axis - the inalienable dreamless
lootpack - soundpieces: da antidote
lords of the underground - here come the lords
capillary action - so embarassing
gang of four - entertainment
organized konfusion - organized konfusion

edit: could never get into that unwound

edit 2: pixies speaking of blonde redhead how did you mean this i didn't realize i gave that impression here. though it is good.
