Yeah, but hold off the JD for a while if you're painting, it won't be a good plan:p

Hmmm... 07-25-2006 03:09 PM
I don't have to go anywhere, all my Warhammer stuff is in boxes behind me

I'm thinking about making some quick casts so I can make zillions of the models I already have (and haven't taken off the sprues yet); that should be better than proxying with toy soldiers or lego or whatever, and Warhammer is (or can be, depending on how much you get for free) a nice fun way to kill a few hours :)
I used to rape face with my Eldar back in my GW days. >_>

Jon 07-25-2006 03:10 PM

This is true.

Do you know what paints you use for Warhammer? If I get into it again* theres no way I can afford the GW paints, but if I can get something similar from an art shop then that'll be cool

*as I say, I'll cast my own little soldier dudes and stuff because I'm not paying £20 for 10 figures, and I have the books aquired anyway.

Just overpriced Citadel paints, they were water-based too.

PAJJ 07-25-2006 03:16 PM

i used to paint mine with acrylic paint, i think, i'm not 100% sure it was a long time ago, like 9 years :-/

NP Judas Priest - Judas Rising

Lord Abortion 07-25-2006 03:17 PM

I think using ordinary modelling paints, that you would use for airfiix kits etc. are fine.

Jon 07-25-2006 03:21 PM

Modelling paints are still bloody expensive, I was thinking Acrylic so I'll do a bit of a google around that.

Might order some mould-making...stuff this week, heh.

Untitled 07-25-2006 03:29 PM

I think acrlyic might be a bit thivk :-/

I used to have loads of them little modleing paints, there expensive though.

Id use water colours, but the ones that come in a tube.

They might be a bit think though :-/

The best are model paints though.

Jon 07-25-2006 03:30 PM

Heh, well I'll see what I can do, the bulk of my GW paints have dried up iirc though :)

Untitled 07-25-2006 03:34 PM

They dry up to quick if the lid is left off.

Lol, in work, i saw the new andrex packets, and it says on it.

I don't know where to go anymore so I came here. :(

Lord Abortion 07-25-2006 03:59 PM

I have a series of Nerdy things.

But I'm pretty nerdy, so it's only expected, you know?

Mr. Black 07-25-2006 04:01 PM

But yeah, When I was 10 we we're all into Yu Gi Oh!

I just have music now. :)

misterglitch 07-25-2006 04:03 PM

Yu-gi-Oh cards have nothing on Neopets.

Jon 07-25-2006 04:05 PM
But I'm pretty nerdy, so it's only expected, you know?
Yeah, I'm a fucking nerd, who cares?

There's a difference between being a nerd and a loser in my book, which is why Star Trek nerds are sociopaths, but I can slip CSS or Warhammer into a conversation and it helps get me sexed.

Mr. Black 07-25-2006 04:11 PM

Haha.

Untitled 07-25-2006 04:27 PM

Theres people who sit in a corridoor at college, they have all these wierd game cards, and lay them all out, and sit there playing them.

Jon 07-25-2006 04:33 PM

Thats fucking lame, I'm interested in stripping the 40k rules down to the bare basics so I have something enjoyable to do on a Sunday afternoon without spending money or having stacks of rulebooks and codices.

Brew 07-25-2006 04:50 PM

Mexican Bandito 07-25-2006 06:05 PM

Good morning Paul.
I didn't watch the first series religiously. I just started to watch it when E4 repeated it in the run up to series 2 starting.

Spaced huh? Was that the show with Simon Pegg and the fat guy dressed up in army stuff?

Lord Abortion 07-25-2006 06:05 PM

He's the guy in Green Wing.

Spaced is cool.
