Anyone here like the Dresden dolls? They're rather cool.
I saw Mission of Burma in Boston in May of 2004 and the Dresden Dolls opened for them.

God do they suck.

RCA 09-07-2005 01:58 PM

Random Fact:

Hurricanes suck not only because of the damage they cause, but they make you clean up after them.

superpeer 09-07-2005 01:58 PM

Why? I like them, especially their War Pigs cover.

To ray.

They just annoy the living crap out of me.

They have this really smug, overly-"clever", pretentious vibe out them, and the chick's voice pisses me off.

superpeer 09-07-2005 02:02 PM

Fair enough.

RCA 09-07-2005 02:03 PM

I've decided that My Sharona is the coolest song ever.

Unlike earthquakes which take all the debris and damaged structures into the large pits with them. Or tornadoes, which suck up all the crap into one centralized area. Or electrical storms, which...down the powerlines.

It was the sample in "It's Tricky" so it's pretty cool, I'd say

Exactly. I just had to rake up mine and my neighbors yard, and bag the leaves.

There is a man on the 78th day of his hunger strike at the McDonalds near my house.

Just felt like sharing that.

Especially when you're outside being forced to smell McDonalds 24/7. I would cave.

You can't survive without food for four days at the most.

Neurotoxin 09-07-2005 05:04 PM

Water and salt.

Food strikes happen all of the time. Recently a group of strikers died after striking for over 50 days.

Shadows 09-07-2005 05:05 PM

Then this guy should be dying any day now.

Neurotoxin 09-07-2005 05:08 PM

Unfortunately, yes.

The majority of the most recent dead lasted about 61 days. This guy is at 78 today. However, for the first 10 days he consumed orange juice (for potassium).

ATM 09-07-2005 05:13 PM

I'm going to start planning my trip to Germany for the World Cup very soon.

If he was smart he'd keep a large stash of vitamins on him at all times. That we he'll have no energy at all but still have needed nutrients.
