Didn't know the new streelight album was out! SWEET!

My band = Shoot the Moon
Im not sure if its out. Its not like i payed for it :naughty:

Its a remake of Keaseby Nights. I'll assume you already know who wrote that.

My fave VGS song atm is The Drop In

TTTSNB - Im just massively paranoid in general. I spent a few hours watchin a van cause i thought they were watching me.

SkaRabbit 03-27-2006 12:36 PM

Who do you prefer? catch 22 or streelight?

i will have to have a look for it. Streetlight are touring again soon right?

Drum Phil 03-27-2006 12:38 PM

I beleive so yes. I prefer streetlights version tbh.

Gather round and i'll tell you a lil story.

Catch 22 were to rerelease Keaseby Nights unchanged to rake in some more money. Tom didnt like this too much since they hadnt consulted him about it so he decided to redo the album himself, but in the way he thought it should have been in the first place. So streetlight released the album sonically changed and much tighter and cooler, therefore blocking catch 22's attempts at being greedy.

SkaRabbit 03-27-2006 12:41 PM

HEHE. What about bandits of the accoustic revolution?

Drum Phil 03-27-2006 12:43 PM

Scuse me?

If you've got msn i'll send you Keaseby nights

SkaRabbit 03-27-2006 12:47 PM

Jezen 03-27-2006 02:49 PM

Yeah, your little cha-cha bell is cooler.

EDIT: To Plan B.

CasB 03-27-2006 02:53 PM

That white splash is _so_ ugly...

Talos 03-27-2006 02:54 PM

Does anyone know the Paiste model Joey Jordison used to use?

I know they were something weird but I cant remember what. Im talking about his old white cymbals by the way.

CasB 03-27-2006 02:58 PM

Joey plays with Rudes if I'm correct...

Plan B. 03-27-2006 02:58 PM

No way!

I'd trade my cha-cha bell for a colour-sound ride ANYDAY.

*turquoise*

milkmit 03-27-2006 03:08 PM
That white splash is _so_ ugly...
hmm, I thought the white one was the only UN-ugly one....

but it looks like it would sound like poop. almost looks like it's a heavy layer of semi-gloss paint on it or something....but it's hard to tell.

The white cymbals were rudes as well.

White rudes look nowhere near as cool as normal ones

Plan B. 03-27-2006 03:18 PM

No guys it's not restricting to the sound, it sounds good.

I want a hot pink ride.

For sure, I wouldn't want a white cymbal in generally though, looks kinda silly, haha.

Jezen 03-27-2006 03:28 PM

Hey Plan B, what about a hot pink cha-cha bell?

Janeway 03-27-2006 03:37 PM

I always hear people talk about how good it feels after exercising...
I spent 40 minutes on an elyptical for a gym makeup, and I just feel normal.
And very sick.
My eyes hurt and my nostrils are raw.

Plan B. 03-27-2006 03:39 PM

Now you're talkin'!

I'd love to just have a rack of wild coloured percussive instruments.

You could pick according to your mood, you could do a slow blue groove, or like a supa fast red blazing groove.
