Well, we haven't practiced all summer because my guitarists live in New York and Quakertown and board at a local Quaker school. So we practiced for like an hour, tweaked two of the songs and then played at this Open Mic thing outside near the dorms. We just played two songs because we hadn't practiced all summer and considering the limited amount of time we had to practice, we thought we'd just play two songs to get our name out there. People really liked it though, all the other bands were like jam/funk bands (that's the popular thing in the school at the moment) and we played really well.

Yo Bob, I saw a kid at Sacred Grounds yesterday wearing a Muncipal Waste shirt.

Haha, I just asked my friend if he by any chance went there, he's never been there. But his friends band played it, Veneva.

Yeah, they didn't get to play. A fight broke out. This car load of kids came from my area with the intent of starting a fight and this black punk kid f[B][I][/I][/B]ucking attacked George the 50 year old guy who runs the shows. I was out back and I see George burst through the back door and then like 5 fights break out and s[B][I][/I][/B]hit. There's this one wigger who is always at all the shows and he had George's back. The black kid ran away and got in his car and ran but one of the neighbors got involved and so the cops came. They questioned George and one cop said he wanted Sacred shut down for good. So George called everyone back in, said the show was over and that people needed to rally together in order to keep Sacred running. I'm going to do as much as I can cause it's my favorite venue. It's such a chill place.

Tell me when some good shows happen there if it stays open. I always heard it sucked though because George would throw out people for dancing and stuff.

Nah, he's a cool guy. I've never seen someone get thrown out. He sings blues songs in between sets and the place is awesome. They have couches and like a snack buffet thing upstairs.

I miss Club HP. It was a 5 minute walk from me and has at least 1 good show a month and every once in a while it had big bands. I was going to the last show because I heard people were just going to tear the place up and just ruin everything. I guess the place found out and cancelled the show a couple hours before it was happening.

God I hate my friends.

Miles Away are playing right now at the skate park. I wonder if I should go....Nahhhhhhhh.
