Well this was single greatest day of my short life. I waked and baked, skiped school, did alot of shrooms, stayed in a tree for 3 hours and discovered a new preception of life. :D
Sorry about the double post, but, that's not really good. You shouldn't have to depend on chemicals to have a good life. There are other things out there, better things, than drugs. Tree climbing is cool though. |
Sure, I've got it; great album. You will have to tell me how to do it though. I'm not very computer smart.
NP - Grateful Dead - New Speedway Boogie
If you have AIM, talk to rockshowguy56 and I'll tell you how to do it. |
I need some Robert Randolph any places to start? Sample? This guy is bloody AMAZING I saw him on Eric Clapton's Crossroad DVD.
|
Oh no, there's polar bears and it's like -1563278 degrees.
get on aim and i can send you those albums you asked for in the trade thread. |
I need some Robert Randolph any places to start? Sample? This guy is bloody AMAZING I saw him on Eric Clapton's Crossroad DVD.
I'd check out his first album, which I can remember the name of right now, and I have a version of "Fool In The Rain" by him and O.A.R. if you want that. |

That's all i've heard by him, but that's enough to impress me. He's THE man ;) |

Hey....we have summers, too...:( I just watched The Wall. Frickin' sweet. |
I just watched The Wall. Frickin' sweet.
Hell ya, unbelievable movie :thumb: |
The Wall is awesome, the storyline and lyrical relevance and how it all fits together with the surreal, subconscious and realistic elements and also the subject matter of conformity and war, very different and off-beat which is something I appreciate in a film.
|
do you prefer the film or album?
|

I have Live at the Wetlands it's awesome, definitely worth checking out. |
do you prefer the film or album?
Umm....if you put a gun to my head, I'd say the album, not by much though :) np: The Byrds - Turn! Turn! Turn! |
I think i actually prefer the film because concept albums are pretty much created for a movie to go with them, no?
np: Led Zeppelin-Houses of the Holy |
Not sure if this should go here but...
Anyone know any good Don mclean albums? |
American Pie is such a good album, I used to listen to my dad's vinyl of it all the time.
|
American Pie is pretty good.
|
I think i'm going to take those suggestions too ;)
just as soon as I get lots of other albums. :( |
I was in chicago last weekend :O.
I was in chicago last weekend :O.
I want to go to DePaul. You get to live in the middle of Chicago for next to nothing. I mean, you pay to go the college, but room and board is cheaper then rent in the city. To make this not spam, Sweet Home Chicago is a good song. |

You can either: 1) Buy American Pie and Tapestry or 2) Buy the Greatest Hits and work from there. I love Don McLean :):):):):)
Maybe you wanna hook me up with one of his albums then? I just have american pie, and i dont know any of his other songs. Sort of embarressing, but thats why im here. |
Badmoon, can you review Manzanita?
I doubt it, right now. My headphones have been screwy (I like to listen while I write) and I don't know each track as well as I should, well at least to review it. Sorry :( I may review something else though. |
You my freind are a luckey man
Eh, don't get too excited, I didn't see him :upset: Still....I was within several miles of him.....that must get me some recognition:(? Hey....has anyone seen the Concert For George? When Clapton and McCartney and everyone did WMGGW, my jaw hit the floor. |

Even Dani loved it, he goes to Clapton right after finishing the song and just nods, saying "Clapton, you are truly God." --FANBOY ALERT-- |

Dhani looks so much like his dad, it's scary.
Yeah. But he's still got some Olivia aspects on him. Anyways, that's also the first time Clapton performs While My Guitar Gently Weeps without Harrison. |
