it must be tiring to walk around being better than everyone all the time.
you get used to it after a while.

flesh 05-28-2010 11:50 AM

its either bunch of scrawny awkward looking kids who dont really listen to hardcore/punk "spazzing" out in a rage of emotion throwing their arms up in the air while stopping the ground singing along. is that how skramz got its name? because i can imagine that described as "skraming" lawl

if not those then its new jacks who were listen to la dispute

i dont know if i just grew out of it (emo) or if its just me sticking to a certain number/kinds of bands but the performance came out as cheesy to me. im trying not to be harsh, just honest.
I ****ing love them.
agreeing with this post sans-religion
I must concur with the love for Shotmaker. Its been a difficult task to stop playing their discography since I got it.
does everyone just stand still/shuffle about a bit and 'listen' and have no fun at all

/never been to an emoz show
I saw TOuche Amore with Converge the other day and thats pretty much what was going on, aside from screaming the lyrics during the a cappella bits.

NortherlyNanook 05-28-2010 06:22 PM

really? when they came here, at least the people up in front (myself included) were doing more than shuffling, but then again, the majority of folks behind us didnt really do anything

just move up and make things happen

christsimpson 05-28-2010 06:25 PM

every Touche Amore video I've ever seen has been full of moshing. ooff.

IgniteYourAvail 05-28-2010 06:44 PM

Yeah, when I saw them people moshed during Honest Sleep. I don't get it.

exredhouseresident 05-29-2010 01:44 AM

I think it was because people were mostly still coming in and considering the fact that Gaza, Coalesce, and Converge were coming after them, I guess people just didn't want to get active that early on. Overall, that crowd was pretty wack until Converge.

RetiredAt21 05-29-2010 09:12 AM

Surprised you guys haven't noticed this yet but people will literally mosh to anything.

witchxrapist 05-29-2010 09:13 AM

ive moshed @ black metal shows

more to rile up hipsters than anything

RetiredAt21 05-29-2010 09:35 AM

Hahahahaha, Mappy we seriously gotta hang out sometime.

christsimpson 05-29-2010 10:30 AM
Surprised you guys haven't noticed this yet but people will literally mosh to anything.
I went to see Kollwitz, a droney screamo band, and people like... moshed... when there were like... ambient keyboard drones...

that sucked so bad.

IgniteYourAvail 05-29-2010 11:06 AM

I saw Bayside (lol) and people moshed for them. Kids are so dumb.

witchxrapist 05-29-2010 11:11 AM

Do you guys ever think that maybe kids don't take everything as seriously as you all seem to?
Hahahahaha, Mappy we seriously gotta hang out sometime.
Def mang.

IgniteYourAvail 05-29-2010 11:18 AM

I don't get what not moshing has to do with being serious, I just think it's dumb.

witchxrapist 05-29-2010 11:34 AM

Exactly. Calling things you don't enjoy personally dumb is really annoying to me.

witchxrapist 05-29-2010 11:46 AM
is that how skramz got its name? because i can imagine that described as "skraming" lawl
i think the term skramz came from internet screamo kids ****ing around and being silly, cause as i've noticed everywhere else on the internet, screamo fans tend to be very unserious, i mean, kitten violence, come on

creamo in my coffee etc

IgniteYourAvail 05-29-2010 11:56 AM
Exactly. Calling things you don't enjoy personally dumb is really annoying to me.
sorry

christsimpson 05-29-2010 11:57 AM

moshing to a keyboard solo is *dumb*

rotanimile 05-29-2010 12:30 PM

is there anything else to mosh to besides keyboard solos

cobert 05-29-2010 01:32 PM
