Fell asleep to Boards of Canada's Trans Canada Highway on repeat, felt good man.

Liebensaft 06-20-2009 03:37 PM

Yeah, I usually put stuff like that on when I'm on a plane or long car ride.

Been listening to Dr. Dog a little bit. Cool band so far.

honourosis 06-20-2009 05:57 PM

lowercase - kill the lights

slightly dazed is amazing

pixiesfanyo 06-20-2009 06:16 PM

honourosis 06-20-2009 07:00 PM

Liebensaft 06-20-2009 07:07 PM

Dirty Three

Apocalyptic Raids 06-20-2009 11:07 PM

which album?

Glitterati 06-20-2009 11:10 PM

I've had Cinder, Horse Stories, and Sad & Dangerous on repeat most of tonight.

Liebensaft 06-20-2009 11:14 PM

I realized that unless I go to iTunes and just put "recently added" on shuffle until something grabs me, I'll never listen to all the music I download. So far it's been promising. I've enjoyed Four Tet, Faraquet, BLK JKS, and Tobacco. Working through the rest slowly but surely.

YDload 06-20-2009 11:37 PM

well thats one way to get through it. good for you!

Liebensaft 06-20-2009 11:55 PM

Yeah. It's necessary. God I wish music blogs didn't make EVERY SINGLE ALBUM BY EVERY SINGLE BAND sound like it's going to be LIFE ALTERING and THEE GREATEST.

samarahah 06-21-2009 12:09 AM
Yeah. It's necessary. God I wish music blogs didn't make EVERY SINGLE ALBUM BY EVERY SINGLE BAND sound like it's going to be LIFE ALTERING and THEE GREATEST.
yeah you just cant try to listen to a million albums at once or even in a week. sometimes you're just not ready for something or if you try to force feed a bunch of shitty music you get jaded and give up for a while (me).

Charles Mingus - Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus Mingus

cbmartinez 06-21-2009 02:30 AM

MF DOOM- MM..Food

didn't groove on this at first because of the instrumental tracks in the middle of the album, but I've come to love them. Plus, "Potholderz" has the dirtiest beat. Doom just kills it in general on this album.

's why myspace is so great, you can get a sample without actually having to download albums and just get a slice of the sound and see if you like it.

Mucca Pazza - Plays Well Together

Bought this after seeing them perform last night. It was only 14 band members and 4 cheerleaders as opposed to the 32 people that are supposedly involved, but it still was so very very great.

cbmartinez 06-21-2009 01:17 PM

just looked them up on wiki, they seem pretty interesting

asdf 06-21-2009 02:17 PM
