That was a stupid video.

Double Bass Jim 03-25-2006 09:34 PM

If it involves children then you know what to expect...

Kids are the worst

Janeway 03-25-2006 09:36 PM

Except the age of those kids in that video are the ages of most of the people on this board...

Ellx 03-25-2006 09:37 PM

Hah "Dude...dude,lets just... lets rock this joint" What a fag.

spike9908 03-25-2006 09:39 PM

^T'is the truth. How I hope I never have one.

EDIT:To Jim

Double Bass Jim 03-25-2006 09:42 PM

I never will ever

EVER

Janeway 03-25-2006 09:44 PM

I give it 10 years.
You'll have 18 littleuns running around hopping on Daddy Jimbo's chest while he's lying on the sunken in couch drowning himself in hagen dazs reminiscing of his drumming days.

I know I spelled a lot of stuff wrong in there, and I do not care.

Double Bass Jim 03-25-2006 09:48 PM

Hahahaha

Trust me no friggin kids for me ever.

Ming-a-Ling 03-25-2006 09:48 PM

Kids aren't that bad. It's a free source of labor, and if you ever need an organ transplant, they're full of them.

Guys I saw CoB last night. It kicked my anus, I'm seriously in so much pain, my body is entirely sore and I still have a ringing in my ears, but it rocked!

Not for Jim. Jim knows absinence is the only way to be sure.

I, on the other hand, have other ways to be sure:thumb:.

Ah man, I've been in New York since Wednesday... just got back. Had a great time, went to this jazz club at the Lincoln Center, saw Marlena Shaw perform there, amazing musicians on all accounts, the drummer was one of the most relaxed and swinging players I've ever seen.

Then, I saw the Alman brothers, they were great too, especially Marc Quinones the percussionist, they had some issues with the sound though.

Also...I stopped by Drummer's World and picked up one fine Istanbul Jazz Ride, a Vintage Bomber Beater, and the New Breed.

moogoogaipan 03-25-2006 10:20 PM

wooo... Just got back from the Sonny Rollins concert. It was fuking fantastic... Sonny really brought it to the table.
But it was kind of like... Sonny rocked:thumb: and his band was meh:rolleyes:

My brother called me the other day and asked if I wanted to come with him and his friends to see Slayer with CoB opening. I had prior commitments though :upset:
I'm not much of a slayer fan anyway though.

Edit: 1000 posts :)

Plan B. 03-25-2006 10:30 PM

What kind of "prior commitments" could superceed CoB?!

Double Bass Jim 03-25-2006 10:37 PM

Good sound quality?

Futuro 03-25-2006 10:38 PM

Good guitar, and keys. Not a fan of the band though.

GhostGrooveMike 03-25-2006 10:43 PM

I was going to be in another province the day of the concert. Plus I'm poor anyway.
dude the police rock (the band)
