If your band is hardcore, you'll end up playin there eventually, they've been booking so many shows lately.

But yeah deal. Showcase gets soooo many shows. Shane if you don't go to the Eulogy tour you will miss out, you'll get killed if you go , but it'll be fun.

People smoke bud in the back on certain nights. Go this Saturday. It is NOT an edge friendly show it is Bay Area beatdown with a bunch of mexican Suicide Krew weedheads from San Leandro.

But death is metal, so deathcore is basically just another form of metalcore. Tthe only thing death about that band was the deeper vocals and heavier guitars. Its basically just a lower tuned version of metalcore, hardly worthy of a whole new genre.

You can argue that, but the guys who play that kind of music are not scene like a lot of metalcore people. My area, it is a made up genre, you'd use the term if you lived here.

Not really, we have a lot of edge melodic hardcore too, they just aren't usually local bands, are main melodic hardcore band is Killing the Dream.

So basically, it is a made up title taht bands take on to seperate themselves from the standard metalcore groups? I like the music, but it sounds like metalcore, just tuned down. Actually, I like it quite a bit.
