16 is a crap age. Happy Bday any way
15 is even worse you know.

Kif 04-06-2006 01:49 PM

Woohoo, all my music is copied onto my computer and into iTunes. Well almost all of it, my battery died on my Zen during the W's were copying, but whatever.

B 04-06-2006 01:49 PM
I don't even know if I have that one or know what it is...I just stole it from Matt a few days ago heh. After I played a song randomly on the radio and liked it.

Kif: Exactly.

Jon: Happy pre-emptive b-day

Holy crap I think it's Gav's b-day tomorrow too. Crazy.
Gav's birthday is indeed tomorrow.

Lostprophets are gud.

Have fun being 16 Jon even though it's not much different than 15 :-\
I don't know guitar chords besides the basic ones. I don't lie when I say that I suck at guitar theory. And I really don't know how to properly take care of a guitar. I just... don't smash it and make sure it stays clean. But I do like playing it.
There are other things one should do to take care of a guitar? I mean, I change all the strings when one breaks (unless I'm at band practice and I'm pressed for time) and such, but that all I do that the average joe who just started might not.

I suck at theory pretty good, but I'm not terrible. Two years of lessons does have it's perks. I'm a pentatonic beast :p
I'm pretty sure I'd suck at an 11/8 meter with guitar. I'd need a bass or keys or trumpet to not botch it. Too many fingers moving at once on a fretboard too quickly = terrible musicianship by me.
I never actually counted the beats in the measure, I'd just count the long notes. For example, if I was playing a dotted half note, I'd count "One...two...three..." regardless of where in the measure it was played. It ain't bad usually, but it sucks for this timing.

It's a slow song, luckily. Then again, that just makes it harder to judge timing.
16 is a crap age. Happy Bday any way
Ha, I'm treating it the same as any other age. I'm not even asking for any presence (besides this Heath Bar Cheescake thing we get for special occasions. It's like an orgasm, god dammit. Amazing)

I might get my driving permit in a few months/week/days. I could get it tomorrow, but I haven't studied at all.

Yay, I win.

mmhmm

Kif: Attaching it to your comp doesn't simultaneously charge it?

Kif 04-06-2006 01:57 PM

Anyone not involved in the trivia contest want to join the group? We are short of a person, and I don't wanna postpone 2 groups on 2 days because stupid people can't turn up

Mute Print 04-06-2006 01:57 PM
I'm not even asking for any presence.

Maybe you should ask for a dictionary, or one of those hand-held spell checkers.

Happy Birthday.

BridgeToSolace 04-06-2006 01:58 PM

Happy Birthday.
Shut up, I get 4 and half hours of sleep a night. I have an excuse, god dammit!

Mute Print 04-06-2006 01:59 PM

You should still be able to spell presents.

See my edit.
Maybe you should ask for a dictionary, or one of those hand-held spell checkers.
BridgeToSolace 04-06-2006 02:02 PM

Spell check wouldn't help. I spelled the word correctly, I just spelled the wrong word.

I need a Contextionary. Not that I think one exists.

Mute Print 04-06-2006 02:03 PM
Spell check wouldn't help. I spelled the word correctly, I just spelled the wrong word.
Good point. The dictionary would still work though.

B 04-06-2006 02:03 PM

Vince: When it's loading songs either ot the comp or to the Zen it drains the battery.

That's gay.

USB 2.0 ftw

B 04-06-2006 02:05 PM

What's the USB have to do with it :-\

Dead Star 04-06-2006 02:06 PM

USB 2.0 Is faster than a normal USB

B 04-06-2006 02:07 PM

I knew that, I was saying wtf does it have to do with the battery draining.

Dead Star 04-06-2006 02:10 PM

If the songs travel faster, it wont take as long, therefore your not using it as long, therefore your battery wil last longer?

B 04-06-2006 02:14 PM

Yeah I figured that's what you were going to say :-\

Dead Star 04-06-2006 02:19 PM

Well then...

B 04-06-2006 02:26 PM

I had nachos again. :)

Dead Star 04-06-2006 02:28 PM

I had some Pringles today. Whoever invented them is fricking genius. I can't imagine how hard it must've been to make one crisp the same shape over and over back then

Do they put it in a mould?

How do they make Pringles? You've confused me now.

Dead Star 04-06-2006 02:52 PM

I would assume its some sort of cutter that cuts the po-tay-toes.

Yes...

I'm lost

cobert 04-06-2006 02:55 PM

The slicer for pringles probably cuts the edges of the taters so they all become the same shape, then cuts them into the shape of a pringle. The dont crack easily because they are all in a can stacked into a column. If a bag of chips had no cracked chips in it, im sure a lot of them all would look extremely similar.

Not really.

Pringles are made out of powdered (dried? I forget exactly what they're called) potatoes that they shape and then fry.

You are not eating a single potato slice when you eat a pringle.
