I got stupidly drunk last night and I was suppose to pick them up from the airport this morning but couldn't because I was still drunk. I drank like 3/4 of a 600ml (i think) bottle of Rum. Its the only time I have ever done that and like yeah definately not good.

I just came back from my birthday dinner and whatnot.

Then I went to Guitar Centre, and had the plan on buying cabs, but I ended up with an Ibanez SR506. :amaze:

I've not gotten a new bass in a while. Well, except for the peavey, but it doesn't count. I'm making it into a rickenbacker when I find the cash.

I only had three hundred on me, and I wasn't actually planning on buying anything, but my mum spotted me the other 326$ because of my birthday.

She said that she has know that I have wanted one for a long time, and so she was actually happy to buy it for me.

I wanted to look at cabs and whatnot, but my mum actually insisted that I buy the SR506. I was like "Mum?" :lol:

Also, I might be hired there when I submit my application.

It was either the SR506 or the TRB, but I didn't have the extra cash for the TRB. I will just buy cabs some other time as well.

Yeah, this is my first bass in like two years.

My bass that I had been playing on was a Schecter AB-5 that I bought off of Portugal, The Man's bassist for 50$ at a random show. :amaze:

That was after having played a GSR200 for a year and a half.

I haven't really contributed anything to the conversation tonight. I feel bad. I like being at least somewhat useful. Quick, somebody go post a thread about what bass should you buy so that I can tell you to get a P or a J or an Ibanez or a used bass so I can feel useful again. Oh well, I'll probably just go to bed. I'd like to get some sleep. :wave:

I have never lived more than a couple miles from one. This was actually my first trip in Guitar Centre in a year or so.

The thing that rules, though, is that, if I don't like it, I can return it within 14 days. :)

I'll change my title to March 05' Crew

So I am trying to debate whether I should do a fishtail or similar at the bottom of my build. Its a single cutaway body shape, so I don't actually know if it would look appropriate.

Anybody got any ideas? Design suggestions or pictures would be great.

Is this for EUB or just a plain bass guitar?
