Just got back from seeing em. They played the exact setlist I hoped they wouldn't, namely, a couple songs of ATEC and Pints of Guinness and then the rest from New Wave and SFAFC, but then the encore was Baby, I'm An Anarchist, What We Worked For and Walking Is Still Honest, so it was all good.

It's a comp cassette from their early days with two alternate acoustic takes of some Vivida Vis songs.
|
Hehe I've never heard of that cassette either. Is it any good?
And Damn an awesome set list. |
even better, that means you can get anyone's ID.

My friend heard an acoustic version of "You Look Like I Need A Drink" in his father's car on XM radio. Does anyone know more about this?
|
It's on the Cavalier Eternel 7". They did two 7"s of alternate takes of ATEC songs, one having electric versions of Sink, Florida, Sink and Unsubstantiated Rumors, and one with the acoustic You Look Like I Need A Drink and a different (can't remember exactly how it's different) version of Cavalier Eternel.
They're playing St. Louis on Sunday.
And by "St. Louis," I mean "East St. Louis." But it's at an 18+ club. And my 18th birthday isn't 'til December. Which sucks. Mucho ass.
Where in the world would they be playing in East St. Louis? Unless you mean Pop's, which isn't really in ESLtL... |
Seeing them tonight.

I just moved to St. Louis, that's what I heard --- Pop's is East. But maybe not? Regardless, couldn't go, heard it was awesome. And I'm glad I could bring teh lulz. |
Against Me's setlist was more or less what was expected. The Encore was : Tonight We're gonna give it 35%, Walking is still Honest, and We Laugh at Danger and Break all the Rules
They did play Pints..., cliche..., sink florida sink, rice and bread, and i think beyond that it was pretty much the last two albums, much of which I don't know song titles. As expected they ended with Ocean. While they were playing it some girl at the front was shouting out another song and they almost stopped playing. Tom said "we're not playing that song right now" and I really thought they were going to leave. When they finished everyone stood around waiting for an encore, but wasn't really cheering. |

It's in Illinois (in an industrial district, I believe). But it is East of St. Louis proper. As a new arrival, I won't judge you too harshly. Missouri represent. |
Missouri represent.
yeah yeah nelly and murphy lee holdin it down for the STL |
Much appreciated, and noted for shore.
Pop's =/= East St. Louis. |
Don't forget about Tech N9ne. And the Urge.
Well ok but I hate Tech N9ne. |
lots of tech 9s in east st louis by the sound of it...
|
Well St Louis was America's most dangerous in 2006 but the Detroit Flint combo have restored their Lakers/Spurs-like dominance.
|
Yeah, you just don't go to East St. Louis. It's ridiculously dangerous. For a while, St. Louis was towards the top of all of those great lists; "Lowest Quality of Living", "Dirtiest", "Most Dangerous". Probably still is.
|
No I just said Detroit is number one again you illiterate hillbilly
|
I said towards the top, slant-eyes.
|
I can't believe you get internet all the way in the Ozarks. Do they even have phones?
|
How are you even managing to read the text with your eyes so squinty?
