Man, this night was depressing, awkward, and made me realize i have no weekend friends

I've had a gooooood few days.

Why?

Got payed. Went into town (and spent $130 in one night...ouch!). Worked. Had a huge sleep in. Went back into town (pulled 2 girls) and I've been sleeping all day.

But I also feel incredibly rested and at ease with the world.

its was a bit of both. sure someone who participates in a spam thread may be doing something wrong but it shouldnt be an automatic ban without looking into the reasons for said offenders actions, we all have a slip of the tongue once in a while. banning everyone within reach is like bombing a country based on the fact that they have muslims in it that dont agree with the democratic (christian) way of life.

It's only a ban. SFK was trying to make a point, and he did. If it'd had been longer than the 3 days, I'd be up in the arms, but he knew exactly what he was doing and got the consequences. That's just how R&M works, I guess.

Meh, it's only 3 days for a spam thread. I got 5 days for a spam thread.

Plus, it was the R&M forum and the mods there should be rather strict considering the number of n00bs that go through there each day. Imagine if our Alt/Indie party thread were in R&M. It would've been close in 2 minutes.

so the length of the ban is the only reason you dont think this is a too quick to judge rule. had he been banned for a month of so you would have sided with me? you may not think this is a big deal but the only rules you can challenge are the smalls ones at first, once they get too big they may be unstoppable. too many people have gotten banned for little things that dont matter.
