I always knew about 2Pac's lyrical excellence in this regard. I just think that the rap music that white suburban kids gravitate towards (like, say, any rap song one might find at a high school dance in a town where houses cost upwards of 500,000 dollars--without exception) are substantially less redeeming lyrically and subject-wise. And crappy versions of a genre that's been much better to boot. That's the rap that [I]I[/I] hate.

It's not like they're real fans of it anyway, though. You can't blame the kids that say they hate rap so much when you get that those kids are giving a rap a bad name the way the hoodie-wearing mall rats give Slipknot a bad name. If that's the only rap they know too, then they'll hate it and get turned off by it.
