Some of the songs in the middle of WD just resemble each other but WD does have "Dire Wolf" and it is a better road album.

As far as that guitarist list, Richard Thompson should have been in the top five, not 17. He is pretty obscure, but well known in his field. I saw him in June, and I couldn't beleive my eyes. He would play rhythm lead and bass guitar at the same time, plucking with all of his fingers so fast you couldn't even watch. I was like :eek: the whole time. He used to work with Hendrix and Page. Just phenomenal

Was Duane Allman that good? I always thought he played rhythm and Dicky Betts played lead, I guess he was replaced by Dicky

Don't get the wrong idea, I am infuriated by this whole issue that the gov't is evidently quite racist, has made fools of us in front of the whole world and tries to get away with it by saying that it is "not the time to talk about these issues" as the Hmeland Security director said. The sad thing is, here in Canada (front page news even) there are stories about all the people who went down to New Orleans on vacation and are trapped there now. I guess sad has double meanings here, because why on Earth would you decide to take a vacation to a place when you know it's gonna have like a huge hurricane. Surely they didn't just decide to drive to New Orleans one day without even like looking on the Internet for resorts or hotels or restaurants or anything. Plus it's not like they wouldn't have money to transport them safely away once they did find out the hurricane was coming...they had to go home eventually.

Darn, Dark Star just ended. I'm gonna go have a shower, it's nearing suppertime and I like to be clean when I eat supper. I'm still in my boxers. I'm sure I'm not the only one though.
