I'll just put in three, no one wants to download 40MB files. I'll pick them from three different albums and put in Long Distance, to avoid Jom's Wrath.

In other news, I think there's one Iron Maiden album I might like

I have a feeling this wasn't supposed to go to me. For what it's worth, it's too bad your university is such a bastard.

NP: Squarepusher

superpeer 11-11-2005 05:39 PM
Right hold my calls, I'm on this one
I seem to be liking the Fear of the Dark album, despite of the crappy vocals.

Hah, no, I don't think it was. I wasn't paying much attention to who I sent it to I think. Sorry. Everything worked out fine, anyway, but the devil did seem to be strewing cow pats from his own satanic herd all over my essay handing-in path.

Hahaha, you picked the album where
1.Bruce is at his worst
2. The songwriting isn't as good.

Still, better than nothing, there are some excellent tracks on there.
Afraid to shoot strangers, be quick or be dead and Wasting love...oh and the title track are all excellent Maiden songs.

You ever hear anything Bruce didn't sing on?

superpeer 11-11-2005 05:53 PM

Long Distance, Screamager & Straight life. Good choice?

I dislike Iron Maiden and I know most Maiden fans don't think much of that album, so with some crazy logic thrown in, it's only normal that I like it best. And Bruce is always pretty bad. :) The songs seem much better to me, I dislike the rest of their stuff.

And yeah, I have, the vocals are a bit better, but not particularly good either.

Mazeppa 11-11-2005 05:55 PM

I think it was, Straight Life in particular.

NP:Therapy?-Straight Life

Shred Danson 11-11-2005 05:56 PM

Alrighty here's the song, keep in mind though:

1) It's a rough copy, not mastered yet.
2) It's a fairly simple, repetetive song, but catchy and heavy nonetheless.
3) The first solo you hear is me :)
4) The beginning is just us screwing around, the actual song begins at around 30 seconds, but it'll give you a good laugh

What is this? Is this your entry or something?

Kurtz 11-11-2005 06:01 PM

Jelle, I liked all of those songs. Especially Straight Life, because for some reason it reminded me of Bush-era Anthrax.

I'll be purchasing some stuff of theirs next time I go to the store.

No, it's a song my band recorded and I mentioned it like a month ago, but was too lazy to upload it...

Oh ok. It's pretty cool. Not really my style but it sticks to it. It sounds pretty good

NP: Therapy? - Straight Life. only a minute in, but it's pretty cool. Thanks!

Axe 11-11-2005 06:05 PM

I very much like your tone. but just a note. tell your singer he is a little sloppy, but that is just my 2 cents.
very nice otherwise. nice soloing too btw.
well not sloppy, just kind of weird, he has talent though.

/me yields success!

I must tell you that the rest of the songs on Semi-Detached aren't really like Straight Life, though. But it's still a good album. It might be hard to find for you. I think Troublegum should be the easiest to find. But you can't really go wrong with a Therapy? album.

Yes you do! I'm listening to Long Distance now. I like it :thumb: this is good stuff

Awesome. Now this song?! Did you send their best stuff or is all of it like this?

Awesome. I like them a lot. Any in particular album you suggest? I really liked the other two besides Straight Life the most.

NP: Queen- Bohemian Rhapsody

Well, like I said, I'd go for Troublegum. I can send you some more songs from any album, if you like, on AIM or whatever.
Do you have his sn? I really wanna harass him, he talks **** about me to Gates of Heaven over AIM, so I just wanna start hitting on him.
*Ahem*. Firstly, I dont even use AIM. I talk to Dargon occassionally on Soulseek, and he wouldn't need to 'talk **** about you' as I already hold you in the lowest esteem.

Dargon doesn't even use AIM or MSN. So let's keep the Dargon talk to a minimum.

Troublegum?

I think I'll buy that one. Thanks a lot anyways 'Peer

Not much of a Rammstein fan

NP: The Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter

/:upset::upset: I want to see them with Metallica sooo badly...:upset::upset:

Jom 11-11-2005 06:41 PM

Never Apologise, Never Explain, Jelle. Come on :p

My favorite Rammstein song is last album's "Amerika." The video for that song makes me laugh for a ridiculous reason. I also used it to present a project in my international relations class

You should, it's an excellent album (and their most famous one, so it should be relatively easy).

I want to see Therapy? live again :(

Jom 11-11-2005 06:45 PM
The lyrics to Amerika are enough to make me laugh.

"Mickey Maus!"
Coca-Cola, Wonderbra!
We're all living in America, America, America...

The video for that song... man, it's great.

It came really fast after Reise Reise, didn't it? :\
Never Apologise, Never Explain, Jelle. Come on
Troublegum is superior to NANE.

Good song, pretty stupid lyrics.

"This is not a love song" No shit. Let's all jump on the Anti American band wagon!

Me too! :D
Me too! For the first time.

All their videos are fantastic. I love the Sonne video too, and Keine Lust.

It did that. I won't complain though!
Me too for the first time. Anyone know if they'll be in the US upcoming?

np: lynyrd skynyrd - freebird. i haven't heard this song in so long!
