I just realized, I really hope that there aren't too many outsiders voting in my competition. There's no point in having it if a band wins, but only receives 3 votes from pop-punkers, and the rest from outsiders.

I'm glad for the variety in the nominations, but I don't want 50 kids from R&M to come in and vote for Metallica, or something like that. It would defeat the purpose if all the forums came in and tried to push thier bands.

A few people coming in is cool though, especially in the nominations.

They have a few good albums but the overall consistency wasn't good enough for me :-\

I only have their Self-Titled, but I enjoy it. Not enough to put them on my list though.

Hmm, as of now, 125 bands recieved multiple nominations, but only 66 received more than 2 nominations.

I don't exactly know how I should go about cutting down to 100. :(

Take the 70 or so bands with the same number of noms and make polls...I guess?

Put all of the names into a hat, and then send the hat to everyone on the committee. We take turns drawning names until we get to 100.

Even better...we could have a huge pop punk meet and all draw names then!
