Yeah I've been in a depression when it comes to your writing too oooh burnnn

TheBigMachine 08-26-2006 02:41 AM

Big Burt makes APS feel insignificant.

APS: come back, we need someone who gives out solid crit's again. Like slack and yourself, and Tojes. But Jason seems to have buggered off.

FA 08-26-2006 04:16 AM

I give wonderful crits.

No I don't.....not critting ftw. Nah but seriously, I only really critique pieces that are truly interesting to me...I'm very picky but I won't get into what I'm picky about.

TheBigMachine 08-26-2006 05:45 AM

Some things are so mediocre that it should be quite obvious that theyre mediocre. Like my last piece. Oh well.

drumass04 08-26-2006 08:47 AM

APS, you have to come back now that I've critiqued your latest...:p

It was the first crit I've done in about a month apart from one, which I can't actually remember, I kinda enjoyed it.

Burton just is drinking all the haterade he can find.

SubtleDagger 08-26-2006 02:13 PM

*is just

You've been in a depression when it comes to your grammar economy

drumass04 08-26-2006 02:34 PM

Haha!

Good to see you around Burt ;p

TojesDolan 08-26-2006 06:09 PM

lol Burton and his mean ways.

TheBigMachine 08-26-2006 10:00 PM

Burt from Seaseme street and Burt here have a strange likeness about them...

TojesDolan 08-27-2006 08:15 AM

lol

Anyway, this week has been a very, very shˇtty week, so my writing should be awesome.

A_Perfect_Sonnet 08-27-2006 09:36 PM

If I wanted a syntax lesson from Burt I'd think of a joke to place at the end of this sentance.

slack 08-27-2006 10:05 PM

You're so witty and dreamy.

I'm gonna say:

"Hey, you corrected the joke he was trying to display."

and you're gonna say:

"Duh, I know, I was just being a smart-ass."

then I'm gonna say:

"Whatevs."

SubtleDagger 08-28-2006 12:45 AM

Uh huh, a joke, sure

riiiiiiiiight

Nope, I'm still here. I'm just busy with work throughout the summer. Never underestimate the ability of sunshine to turn otherwise normal people into dribbling idiots.

TheBigMachine 08-28-2006 02:34 AM

With the added affect of alcohol it's worse. :p
Yeah, no worries though. If you get a minute...my latest. TMATW: Transformation. :)

And I'll remember to crit the next thing you put up.

FA 08-28-2006 04:51 AM

Anyone ever get the feeling that they just wrote a lovely piece and that they, themselves, are very proud of it, but more than likely won't post it here because it won't make sense and it will sound lame to everyone else?

Yea, I just did, actually...

drumass04 08-28-2006 10:16 AM

I sat down and forced myself to write last night, please remind me never to do it again...it's scary!

Then again, I did actually get something right at the end of the session. After two hours of sitting and writing a load of absolutely rubbish, inspiration finally hit. It looks like it'll be a bit of an epic, so I won't post it at the moment, I'll let it run some of it's course first.

Bit different to what I usually write, little bit quirky.

Hope you're all well, good to hear that you haven't dissapeared of the face of the earth Jason. FA, try us...

TojesDolan 08-28-2006 12:53 PM

My last song just came out of my heart, and I was a pretty desperate man while it was being written, so good times.

I'm starting to go to the gym today, I hope.

Although buff songwriters don't exist, really.

<_<

drumass04 08-28-2006 02:25 PM

I actually got told to stop exercising so much...I'm nearly dangerously underweight, though I don't really look it; I don't think so anyway.

I reckon I live a healthy lifestyle, balanced diet, no fast food, plenty of exercise, but apparently I've really got to put some weight on. Cutting down on exercise has been really wierd! I'm only doing about 12-15 hours a week rather than my usual 20 or so!

Exercise rules :p

Timmy

TojesDolan 08-28-2006 02:36 PM

Yeah, I know.

It might as well kill me because I haven't moved in months.

:-|

drumass04 08-28-2006 02:40 PM

haha!! I couldn't just sit around doing nothing...doesn't appeal to me in the way it seems to do to so many!

Only at the moment I'm too busy sponging off my heros to do anything remotely creative.

A_Perfect_Sonnet 08-28-2006 11:54 PM

Sentence has two e's? Ooo.

Before Burt says it: 3 e's*

TheBigMachine 08-29-2006 01:17 AM

Asterix goes at the front :p
