I don't think so. I do know that on June 6th they'll release their EP thing.

SimonCore 05-16-2006 01:10 PM

Oooo an EP will be very interesting.

Nostalgia 05-16-2006 01:23 PM

Man, I know Slayer would like a lot of time to record a good album, but they've had 5 years. You'd think they'd be able to come up with something.

SimonCore 05-16-2006 01:34 PM

I really think it will be really good.

Nostalgia 05-16-2006 01:37 PM

They've hyped up with album a lot. It better be good.

Crysiss 05-16-2006 03:31 PM

I hope its as tight as a witches cleft.

SimonCore 05-16-2006 03:47 PM

^Um yeah. I dunno if i'll be happy if it's as good as GHUA. I really liked that album, but i really wanna see something better.

Bazarov 05-16-2006 04:08 PM

If they lay off the drop B tuned guitars, the lame lyrics, and just play fast but good riffs, then it should be a good album. But Tom should try to do something about his voice.

Crysiss 05-16-2006 04:17 PM

Sorry, Ive been making unintelligent posts today, I feel like a douche today.

SimonCore 05-16-2006 04:23 PM

Nah it's gonna be the same tuning mostly drop B. A few songs the usual old schoo 1/2 step down. But there'll stil lbe distorted vocals. King has said on numerous occasions that it'll be basically the extra 10-11 tracks on GHUA.

Bazarov 05-16-2006 04:25 PM

That's why I think this album is going to suck. It's bad when you think your favorite band has lost it. :-/ Oh well, Slayer up to Divine Intervention still kills.

AA-12 05-16-2006 04:34 PM

From the recent live clips i've seen, his voice is better than ever.

SimonCore 05-16-2006 04:35 PM

ACtually think the vocals may be old school. Because he can't even get close to do the knew distorted voice live.

Nostalgia 05-16-2006 04:39 PM

Do you like Divine, Butcher?

heavy metal kid 05-16-2006 04:44 PM

hey Butcher, did you buy your tickets yet?.
I bought them and seems i got the GA area, but i don't find it, people have told me is in the arena(lower area). If that's true, this is gonna be sweet.

Bazarov 05-16-2006 05:14 PM

Yeah, I got my tickets they day they went on sale.

I was told that all tickets for sale at this concert were General Admission... hmm. Mine are GA as well, but I was told also that you can go anywhere you want with GA tickets. Which means I'll be down on the floor.
Do you like Divine, Butcher?
I sure do.

It took me a while to get used to it though.

Drone 05-16-2006 06:22 PM

I love Divine Intervention, and I think that with some better production that it could be regarded with the same prestige as Seasons or South of Heaven. The production makes me not want to listen to it, but I love the riffs and vocals.

Apocalyptic Raids 05-17-2006 02:04 AM

DI is ok. I haven't paid a heap of attention to it though.

SimonCore 05-17-2006 05:36 AM

Dittohead could have been an extra track on RiB IMO.

Nostalgia 05-17-2006 01:28 PM

Maybe I should buy GHUA. Though I've only heard a few tracks, it really can't be too bad.

AA-12 05-17-2006 01:45 PM

It has my favorite Slayer song on it.

Bazarov 05-17-2006 02:52 PM

Best song on the album.

Nostalgia 05-17-2006 04:21 PM

The song Divine Intervention sounds a lot like some stuff I've heard on GHUA. I bought Divine a while ago but lost it, if I remember right, Tom's vocals were distored on that song, and were barely heard.

Some of the things said in there makes me very happy.

Stoo 05-17-2006 05:07 PM

I'm also very happy. :)

Bazarov 05-17-2006 05:13 PM

I missed that commercial or whatever though. Maybe if headbangers ball wasn't so lame nowadays I wouldn't have missed it. Hopefully some fan will put it on the internet soon.

Nostalgia 05-17-2006 05:17 PM

Hmm, think if we google it, it might work?

Bazarov 05-17-2006 05:18 PM

I already looked around, I found nothing.

Nostalgia 05-17-2006 05:28 PM

What were you searching under? Hold on; I might be able to find something.

Bazarov 05-17-2006 05:56 PM

I just typed in Slayer Headbangers ball, then tried Slayer commercial...
