Bleh I'm sore from the other day still. :p I'm still lifting, actually, but I figured I'd check the forums between sets. :p

i have moved a few times, and i know that it really sucks when you leave a town that you have lived in for a long time, but it will get better in the new town in a few months or so.

Tomorrow will be 15 years of my life in the middle of nowhere, New Jersey. Contrary to popular belief, New Jersey is not totally urbanized and dirty, just check out Burlington.

I've lived in Chicago my whole life. Wouldn't know what it's like to move. :confused:

What part of Chicago/park do you live in/by?

LOL. Well see, where I plan to go to High School, there's a Lacrosse team. And I REALLY want to play Lacrosse. For that, however, I'll need to be in pretty good shape, and a friend told me I might as well get a head start. Not to mention I dislike my body. :upset:

Ahh wardrobe; you're sorta far from me. :p I'm more in towards the city. Not like in the "City" that people typically think of; I'm in "Chicago" but I'm not in a suburb, nor in the high urban areas.

I moved from a dirty city outside of Boston to a clean suburb...that was a culture shock. After there was a dead body found in a car parked down the street (literally) from my house, and I was 6 years old, my parents decided maybe this wasn't the best environment for little Gavy to grow up in :rolleyes:

Moving's always tough, we're here for you, LR.

And since we're on the topic of movies, I want to see Open Water. Anyone heard anything about it? I like independent and different films (Fight Club, Boondock Saints, Requiem for a Dream, Quentin Tarantino movies, etc.).

I burned my favorite downloaded songs from the computer onto a CD, and when I listen to them now in my Walkman with bass boost (like you know it's gotta have!), I'm amazed at all the bass playing I missed from listening to it through crappy computer speakers! Did you know The Mars Volta's "Concertina" has a fu[color=white]ck[/color]ing awesome bass line? Well now I do.

Whee I'm done now. Stretching time. :D

I need to burn a new MP3 CD. In like 3 days time I torrented 5.25 gigs of music.

Ironically, the last thing I woke up to (left it running over night) was, I thought, [b]very[/b] ironic. It said:

"Metallica - the Complete Collection - Download Successful"

On another note it rained a litttle bit today :D after like almost a year of drought, man its dry as hell, we need a huricane or two overhere , but thats not possible here :upset:

Where do you live again?

I've moved once in my life. My old house is about 3 miles away :p . We live out in the country, and on a gravel road. The previous house I lived in was pretty close to the road itself, and people would always be driving by pretty fast. It was a bit dangerous; plus they kicked up dust that came through our windows and coated everything.

My parents like this place a lot (I guess I have a bit of an attachment here too) and they wanted to stay in the general area. We moved down farther on the same road, but now our house is bigger, we have more property (12 acres), and we're up on a hill (great view, and no dust or dangerouly fast drivers near us :D ).

You know what is funny.... there are more murders, crimes, etc going on in NJ that in my city. And everyone's like.. "Ew philadelphia!!! " and I'm like... have you REALLY paid attention to the news lately... ?!?!!?"

Sure, there are some REALLY rough neighborhoods here.. I won't deny that. But I read about more crap that happened in NJ than in my city...

Ive moved once and its, up here in the burbs of Chicago. Im going to hs here now but it hasnt started yet(incoming freshman and I know nobody). Kind of frightening.

Don't worry about it. I did fine and I was a huge loser of a freshman.

I'm trying to think of local musicians you might now but the only one that comes to mind is Guitarist Pat Pratico...

I was a big loser, too. My friends and I are sorta the nerds, but not truly nerds. We're in smart classes, but don't act like it. I guess I hang out with the musicians and some of the jocks, and occasionally the nerds. Although I HATE labels, there's no other way to explain it to you guys/girls on Mx. I guess I'm the social butterfly :rolleyes:
