Do you think it's safe to put posterboard through my printer? I want to do this so that I can cut a stencil directly rather than printing out the stencil on paper and having to tape it to posterboard and then cut.
|
you can set your printer to print out thick paper, but it's still risky. i'd just draw the picture on posterboard.
|
Meh, I tried it and it worked.

I've done it before, it works. But the ink stays wet for a long *** time so watch out for that. :thumb: |

thanks!
|
if you bleach a denim jacket to turn it white will it get destroyed really easily afterward?
|
I think my next stencil will be the The Devil is Electric logo, for a patch idea I had, with their logo and "Cancer or Carwreck?" written under it. I may try it with a shirt instead, but I don't want to go out and get a blank shirt.
|
Use an undershirt or an old soccer or baseball shirt from when you were growing up, I used an undershirt for my black flag one.

I have none of those things, which is why I would have to go out and get a blank T-shirt ;) |

Me and my mate want to start a band in the near future, after we learn our instruments..., and on lazy days we brainstorm names, and just write lyrics in general. We have lyrics that could fit in with horror punk, some that are political, and some other mindless fun stuff. Feeling that we could play many of these genres naming ourselfs has been hard. So we came up with two names Death In 15 Seconds and Fragathon. Tell me what you think, and if you can sugest anything it would be appreciated.
|
If I saw a band name with "death In 15 Seconds", I wouldnt listen to it, sounds too emo for me.

well, i suggest you don't take names we give you 'cause, well, look at this scenario: Crowd Member at a Show: Man, you guys are great! were'd you get your name? You: Internet Forum I'm sure you can think of names yourself, and It's gratifying when you find a good one to stick to. |
and if u ever actually make the band show me some of your songs yay horror lyrics

Is there any specific kind of fabric paint you guys use? because all I can find around here is "dimensional" fabric paint.

Get the kind in the small bottles, not the squeeze puffy paint bottles, they should be in the same aisle. |
I got a blank black zip up hoody today and I haven't decided if I'm going to sew the DK back patch on it, or make a stencil and spray paint the thing. I've never made a stencil before and I don't want to ruin the hoody with some experiment if I can make a perfectly good DK one.
