So as you can see Metallica has had more of an impact than you have given them credit for. As for them being weird, they are Swedish, or from around there, and many people from that area are kind of weird, but only the metal bands, no one else there is like this. These Metal guys in that area think metal is fast guitar riffs that are monotonous and stay that way song after song. Now I've heard many bands of that region, many don't appeal to me, but some do, and it seems this is one that does not appeal to my taste in music, as it does the rest of you ladies.

Buzz from Unearth was sweeping up and down his guitar, and Ken was sweeping behind his head. Chris Adler is a million times better then the drummer from Opeth, unless he just decides to not try during thieir music.

But if I knew nothing about Opeth or Uneart and I watched that concert I would think Buzz is a ton better than Opeths guys.

I agree, Opeth is not very overly talented, so many bands have guys who literally reap talent, Opeth does not.

WHO CARES IF THEY CAN MOVE THEIR GUITARS IN A FANCY MANNER!?

If you compare Opeth's technicality and lyrical content to LoG's, LoG pales in comparison. Face it, Opeth is the superior band.

It's a matter of opinion, he can't prove it, nor can you or I. Face it no one can prove who is the better band, and no magazine countdowns don't count either.

1st off I said he was sweeping, like sweep picking the guitar. Fast. Also, from what I saw yesterday Opeth is not very talented at all. Maybe if you are one of the people that thinks songwriting is where true talent lies, then sure if you like the music.

Im just saying, nobody in that band did anything exceptional yesterday during their performance.

And if you think that Lamb of Gods riffs aren't technical, that just shows how ignorant Opeth fanboys truly are. And Lamb of Gods lyrics are great, if you are into them. Thats just a matter of opinion though.

No, you can. Actually buy some Opeth albums and LISTEN to Opeth's guitar work and READ their lyrics. You will quickly realize that they are a very talented band.

Do you judge bands by how they act onstage?

Plus I own almost all of the LoG albums. I have read their lyrics and see nothing special about them.
