Goose!

Win A Rabbit 03-21-2006 07:58 PM

me and my friends have been on this 'italian' thing, where everything we say, we say it as italian as possible. and not just normal italian, we do it as mobster italian as we can. it makes conversations much more interesting.

what are some truly italian names, other than franky and tony? those two are the most predominant, with other words thrown in. (ex. three-fingers franky, baby-face tony, etc.)

Snarz 03-21-2006 08:02 PM

I think "Ezibela"(?spell?)is an Italian name

Double Bass Jim 03-21-2006 08:26 PM

Pinocchio

Win A Rabbit 03-21-2006 08:28 PM

haha thanks guys, i was starting to run out of ways to describe franky and tony.

you guys should really try it. whole conversations, with all the adjectives and verbs subsituted with mobster lingo.

rockindrummer 03-21-2006 08:35 PM

haha sic i'd love to be walking down the street and see some people doing that, it would be halarious.

Win A Rabbit 03-21-2006 09:29 PM

oh, it's great when you're walking by elderly women on their afternoon strolls.

 we're so far from italian looking, too.

one thing i noticed, though, is that it's too easy to go from mobster accent to "gangsta" accent. me and my other friend have done gangsta accents for a long time now, and i keep finding myself slipping into a gangsta accent while describing how franky 3-fingers is sleeping with the fishes.

What do y'all think of the last drummer for Death, Richard Christy, compared to the other guys?

Double Bass Jim 03-21-2006 10:37 PM

yeah I still have their old 'some old bullsh!t' on....cassette tape! :)
I've never really been crazy about it, but it's cool to see how diverse they can be.. from hardcore stuff, to rock/hiphop fusion, to straight hiphop, and even pure instrumentals (which I LOVE!)..

actually, I'm a bit let down with the latest stuff they've been putting out. with an older, more "mature" age, I figured they'd lean more and more on their instrumental stuff....but that doesn't seem to be the case. but oh man would I love to play with a band that does that kind of stuff!

Drum Phil 03-22-2006 11:24 AM

Ive got "Some old bullshit" as well :D

SkaRabbit, have you heard Streetlight manifestos latest effort? and the new LTJ album should be out in the next couple of months
