How do you send albums to people. I'm not too keen with computer technology.
It was actually a real cartoon way back when...my dad told me about it.

And for the people that don't understand how to send them, you download CDs or .mp3s(or .wma) and you send them all to someone over AIM.

You guys didn't know of the Adventures of Tommy and Davy?

It was a waaaay old cartoon.

Jesus, I'm younger than most of you and I know it.

I don't think I've ever watched it...but I know of it.

What do you guys think of Peter Frampton? I've only heard a couple of his songs, but I generally liked what I heard. Anyone have any comments or suggestions for songs/albums?

Frampton Comes Alive, duh. It's very good.
Frampton Comes Alive, duh. It's very good.
I'll go check and see if I have it (sometime's I get lucky). I figured that's the one I should get...as it's the only Frampton album I've even heard of.

Thanks. Are you a Frampton fan?

edit- No I don't have it. I have quite a few albums with the word "Alive" in them...so I thought I'd check and see.

So I was uploading the video with YSI, and all of a sudden it just stopped working

EDIT: I am trying it again.

Fair enough. Yeah, I heard some songs of his on the radio and I was fairly impressed. One was pretty cool, at first I thought it was a Joe Walsh song though.

JonG 05-07-2005 12:40 PM

I have Frampton Comes Alive, it's pretty good. Don't really like him though.

Everyone stop what they are doing and listen to Ripple by the Grateful Dead. I'm sure you've all heard it many times, but some of you may have forgotten what a beautiful song it is.

Yes, especially when followed by "Brokedown Palace". :thumb:

Same as the all of the middle part of AB, just too slow/mellow/boring. I love the first 4 songs and Truckin', though.
Yes, especially when followed by "Brokedown Palace". :thumb:
Hey Badmoon there was someone in the Guitar forums who had heard a "bluegrass" song by Zakk Wylde (not sure if it's real bluegrass), and he was asking for places where he could learn some bluegrass songs. Everyone was telling him stuff by Buckethead (someone even mentioned Yngwie Malmsteen) and I told him to listen to some real bluegrass artists. Do you remember that site that you showed me that had all the bluegrass songs tabbed out that you can play along with? I figure he may as well learn bluegrass the right way.

Badmoon 05-07-2005 01:30 PM
Everyone was telling him stuff by Buckethead (someone even mentioned Yngwie Malmsteen)
Okay, that is nuts.

Once I'm on my other computer, I will post the URL's. Thanks for telling me :).

thickasabrick 05-07-2005 01:40 PM

And the only scale that was mentioned was the blues scale. I don't think anyone in the Guitar forums can tell blues from bluegrass. They listen to metal too much.

I think I'm just in a Grateful Dead mood today. St. Stephen is also a cool song. Which album is it from?
