I've been saying for it years. If the government controlled mairjuana like they do tabacco and alcohol, they could make tons of money off of excise tax, plus cut back on drug related crime, and control the use. Pot is safer than cigarettes, and maybe alcohol.

They couldn't controll it like tobacco and alcohal, its too easy to grow yourself. Although I must admit Marlboro Joints would sell incredibly well. And yeah, herb destroys your lungs much slower than alcohal destroys your liver. Plus we could finally have unrestricted growning of hemp, which is great for many reasons, and you can extract hempseed oil from it, some of the most protien rich stuff on earth, which would be very effective for feeding the hungry.

The only reason marijuanna was made illegal anyway is because hemp threatened to put other fabric manufacturers out of buisiness.

At the beginning of the year in AP Psych, we talked about drugs and I presented the viewpoint that they should all be legalized and the class thought I was trying to be funny and looked at me weird. But they really should be, and DARE programs should be killed and real drug education should occur, allowing people to make their own decisions.

Another question I've been asking. I despise the double standard. Blacks can be racist against blacks all they want. Stuff like "Black power" "Brown power" or s'hit like that is fine, but a white person who is proud of their heritage is racist. And affirmitvie action, don't get me started on that.

DARE and Drug-Free stuff is as effective as abstiance, which is not at all. You can't stop people from doing something that is availble to them, at least educate them in ways to protect themselves besides the option of "not doing it"

What makes me angry is whenever you take standardized tests in school you are supposed to fill out your race/ethcnicity. How are we supposed to teach kids that it doesn't matter when their scores are ranked based on others "of their kind" on everything. Stupid.

In my health class last year we had a woman come in who was addicted to heroin at age 5 or 6, and talked about how her husband and several boyfriends died due to drugs. That sh[I]it[/I] is way better than having a cop come tell you "Say No to Drugs."

I still have my DARE shirt from 5th grade.

You go to church way more than I do. I usually only go 3 times a year at least, and everybody hates us there. Except for one preist, but he just recently died.

acctually the desk I sit at someone drew a swastica on, then the next day someone crossed that out and wrote "brown pride" under it. So I crossed them both out and drew a circle E. The government sanctions white power demonstrations just like they do with black power and brown pride, soley because they have to. But you have to remember those movements were all started out of a striving for equality, where as white power was started to increase the persecutuion of other races in the country.

And many people hate affirmative action, white and black, man and woman.

I know, I think its complete BS that some asian dude or black dude has more of a chance getting into a college even if they have worse grades than me. To me thats racist in itself, saying that minorities arent as smart.
