There's no such thing as a broom handle by itself. Once the broom part comes of it's just a plain stick.

Yeah I was lying anyway, I don't own a broom. :upset:

Edit: Or a stick for that matter :(

sweet_nothings 03-20-2006 12:15 AM

There there, one day you'll grow a tree and have many sticks. Then you can throw them at guests when they won't leave your house, and have over stayed their welcome.

"Ahhh the bark! It powder-fies and stings my delicate eyes! The strong pine smell is too overcoming! Help!"

My uncle's house (next door) got robbed on Friday, the night I saw Airto Moreira.
I wen't to the Blue Sapphire Ball on saturday night with my gf at the grandest hotel in England, The Dorchester. She was invited to sing. Full of millionaires I tells ya. Rolls Royces all round.
I had a 7 hour rehearsal with the orchestra yesterday too.

well we got our adjudication tapes/papers back today. the whole band blew, except percussion. i specifically got singled out, and she said i'm 'an excellent player'. she said we overplayed one of the songs a bit, but we were playing what we've always played (drags before all the single hits), and the teacher thought we had only playing the in the first 8 bars, due to our music room being terrible acoustically.

the only thing that we got higher than fair marks on, other than percussion, was appearance. needless to say, he wasn't happy.

this was my 800th post in here.

Drum Phil 03-20-2006 05:43 PM

rockindrummer 03-20-2006 09:46 PM

I don't notice mine being laggy at all, it's as smooth as always.

Seafroggys 03-20-2006 09:59 PM

John Entwistle played on an 8 string bass on the song Trick of the Light, so beat that!

milkmit 03-20-2006 11:03 PM

odd question:
I plan on sewing an "envelope" of sorts for my penpal (yep, you heard right). problem is the postage.

could I just slap a blank sticker on the outside (to provide a surface for stamps to stick, since they probably wouldn't hold well to cloth) and then just slap a bunch of stamps on there?

would I be better off ignoring the whole stamp thing and instead just bring it to the post office and let them do whatever the hell they do with it? I'd rather it not be packed in some boring paper envelope if I'm going thru all the effort to produce something so unconventional, but I'm just unsure of all the regulations since I'm a shipping idiot.
I don't notice mine being laggy at all, it's as smooth as always.
for me, it's reallly really laggy at times, but at other times, it's pretty darn fast... How is this happening??
